The albergo's location and history were wonderful, as was its cleanliness. It is a period piece that easily accommodates today's traveler (though there is understandably no elevator). What we greatly appreciated the most, however, were the courtesy and hospitality of the owner: a gracious and helpful sculptor and art teacher whose family has owned the property for generations.

What an amazing find in Northern Italy, only 30 miles from Milan! The villages surrounding this community were full of kind Italians, happy to greet us(though, bring euros and don't rely on credit cards and know that many do not speak english in this area!) We had amazing hikes, whitewater paddling, delicious food---all around a win!
