Location, and the whole experience created by staff who could not do enough to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel was set in an amazing location and from arrival to check out the team were outstanding. Maria and Amelia (I do hope I have spelled this correctly). During my stay I had an issue worthy my motorcycle and Amelia helped me with translating with the local garage to arrange a repair and even upgraded me to a bigger room for my unplanned second night. The food from Chef's new menu was outstanding. A very pleasant stay. Thank you team Borgo Villa Marie.

Great room in a lovely house. Breakfast was served in a bakery 50m from the hotel. Great and generous breakfast. The staff was great and helpful. One of the best hotels in this Italy trip. I would stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay. It was our first visit to Rionero and we very much appreciated how welcoming and accommodating Miguel was. The entire staff were pleasant and catered to our every need. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and temperature was comfortable too. Our first night in town, my wife and I had an excellent dinner at La Pergola. Our waiter, Nicola was very attentive and made great suggestions on our menu choices. Two nights later we went for pizza with a local Rionero family and we all raved over the food. Service was outstanding and we were happy the restaurant could accommodate a party of 10 on a Saturday evening with short notice. Each morning we were welcomed with a cappuccino and pastries that were fresh and tasty. We will stay again at La Pergola when we return.

Location is at the train station, the city centre is on a hill. But I chose this with purpose, it fits my style of travelling. Room was good, also bed and pillow. Staff was helpful once I was there.
I plan to go back in a few years' time
