Location is amazing, incredible views of Mount Etna and pool is lovely. There are lots more sunbeds than in the pictures round the corner from the pool so plenty of space. There is a free shuttle to Taormina which we used, very reliable - needs booked in advance as places fill up but not a problem to plan ahead a little - could be more of a problem in peak season. Breakfast was very good - the cooked ‘British/american’ items weren’t very good but everything else was brilliant. Staff at all times were very helpful
Tucked into rocks and mountains, Splendid overlooks the Ionian Sea and the Calabrian coast, a short walk from Taormina’s picturesque town centre and 3-minute walk from Corso Umberto main street.

I really enjoyed the friendliness of the hosts, caring and always available to provide information. The building was in good condition overall and cleaned. Room as well was cleaned, with a lovely spacious bathroom. Breakfast was included in a large area close to our room, with a good range of fresh products! I would definitely go back, as we went during low season the pool and rooftop weren’t open yet. Reason to go back!
Located at Taormina Mare, the hotel offers an enchanting view over the Bay of Naxos and Cape Taormina; a magnificent panorama that can be admired from each of the guestrooms and from the restaurant.

Location is great. Just a couple of minutes walk until cable car that gets you to Taormina. Very close to beaches. Hotel offers paid parking, but we were able to park for free by the street.
We arrived late at night. The place is located high up and is reached by a steep and winding road, but it is worth it. Breakfast is sufficient - packaged biscuits, croissants, juice, jam, fruit yogurt. There are kitchen utensils, you can make Italian style coffee.

Very nice views of surrounding mountains and countryside as well as a view of the sea. Small but very cute village which was spotless and had about half a dozen restaurants but some are not open at this time of the year and the majority of them were fish specialists.

Small Italian City on a Hill, amazing views, great food, old buildings and nice people.
Amazing view to the stars, saw clearly a Starlink Satellite Constelation Train.
Superb views to the seaside and mount etna.
Very simple hotel woth a breathtaking view. Rooms are super spacious and sparkling clean. It is a family run hotel do not expect Forte like treatment. Very nice restaurant, not much on the menu, at very good price for an enormous amount of food at super reasonable prices, with a stunning view of the coast below and Calabria's coastline in sight. All of this under a great shaded terrace
The location was great, parking no problem and a short stroll to the top for restaurant etc. Beautiful hotel, exceptionally friendly host, excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Lovely view from the side terrace .Very good value for money.
