The location and the hotel it self was great, once you are in Sardegna for sometime, the beach scenery can get a little bit default. This is the main reason we choose to stay at Villa Cedrino, a country side experience with a spectacular sundown view by the pool with mountains and river on the horizon. And it takes only 20 minutes by car to get in Cala Gonone, where you can find lots of options for boat tours, hiking, restaurants, bars . Once at the hotel, don't miss the experience to have dinner at the terrace, great food and wine.
With a rural setting just south of Dorgali, Belvedere Pradonos is 6 km from Cala Gonone beach. It features a peaceful atmosphere, a second-floor sun terrace and a garden with children's playground.

We got everything we came for. The owners are very nice, friendly, helpful and polite people. They wanted us to enjoy the stay as much as possible. Our room was very comfortable and cozy. It is situated just out of the town so it is really quiet place. The absolutely best thing was trip with one of the owners Sergio, who offers the best boat cruise to the Gulf of Orosei, which we really enjoyed. One thing we regret is not staying longer.
The 3-star Hotel Ispinigoli is located on Sardinia’s east coast, a 15-minute drive from the beach at Cala Gonone and 12 km from Orosei. It offers panoramic sea views from its raised position.

Friendly staff, super tasty restaurant with great view
This family-managed hotel is set in the countryside outside Dorgali. Rooms come with rustic Arte Povera furniture, and offer a patio in the garden. The restaurant is traditional Sardinian.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I found that the location was great to explore the area around (Gorropu and Tiscali hikes ~30min drive). The staff was very welcoming and warm.
Great breakfast! And I also had dinner once which was absolutely fantastic (optional, pay extra). I ate a lot and well! ☺️ WiFi worked well (I could even watch Netflix on my phone). My room was simple, but clean and comfortable. It also had a little patio, with a view on the mountains.
It was definitely great value for money.

Convenient room in centre of town of Dorgali. Very nice location to explore this part of island. Also very calm (at least during my stay in low season).
Fly to Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, 108km from Dorgali. From there, take a direct bus (2.5 hours) or drive (1.5 hours). Alternatively, ferries arrive at Olbia from mainland Italy. Domestic travellers can also drive from Cagliari (3 hours).

This accommodation was just in the right place and time.
This accommodation was just in the right place and time. We enjoyed the surroundings and the nice restaurant we found in the town. The B&B we had was excellent and the trip from Dorgali was so beautiful that we had almost to stop at all the scenery stops.
A must take route from Dorgali south the Oriental road.

Dorgali seemed a charming town for walking and shopping.
Dorgali seemed a charming town for walking and shopping. We did not have enough time to adequately explore. We much enjoyed the Dmitiri pizzeria for dinner, friendly staff, good playlist, reasonable prices.

Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat.
Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat. There is not much to do in Dorgali itself. So a car is essential. There are some good value pizzerias, some bars and a couple of high quality restaurants. We had a memorable meal at Corte Barisone, some excellent food at Merula Cafferia (but were suprised by thge prices which were nearly as high as London here) and we loved our beers, apertifs and burgers at the great value Gallo Nero bar. Dorgali is a good base for walking the Gorroppu Gorge and for visiting Cala Gonogne.

I went diving in Cala Gonone which is great because of the caves (but only allowed if you have the required diving certification). Cala Gonone is about 15 min from Dorgali by car. Me and my friend mostly went to Cala Gonone because it also has beautiful coasts and bays. Boat trip is recommended there!
Hiking is also said to be good in Dorgali and surrounding areas but we didn‘t do it.
We didn‘t spend much time in Dorgali so we can‘t really say a lot about it.
The location is in a peaceful rural setting. The room is large, has some of the owner’s artwork, and a nice bathroom. The outside area also has the owner’s artwork and is worth observing. The breakfast was more than adequate. The property is located in a great area to explore the region (gorge, mountains, beaches). It is nice to stay in a place that is not surrounded by hundreds of tourist (Cala Gonone). Having a car is essential. To get to the property you must drive on a narrow road through the Dorgali neighborhood-5 minutes.
Rich breakfast in little lovely dinning room. Best one I had on my one week budget Sardinia trip. Very big room and bathroom, but it wasn't modern as on the photos and balcony didn't have nice view (maybe other rooms are more modern with the view). No problem with parking on the street in front of the place. About 15 minutes drive to Cala Gonone and Cala Fuili (hike to Cala Luna), so it is a cheaper option to stay here than Cala Gonone. But still a bit to expensive for solo traveler.
This hotel was incredible. We were terrible guests (not on purpose...our flight was delayed so we arrived super late, we had some trouble out hiking so were late to dinner, we got sick and needed extra linen etc etc) and they still went out of their way to accommodate us. The locations, views, room etc are lovely, very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of towels and extra blankets. The food is to die for (breakfast and dinner) and very reasonably priced.
Breakfast was good, a buffet with a nice variety of sweet and savory items (as a kind suggestion I'd say it would be nice to include some local Sardinian cookies or pastries). The hotel is conveniently located near Dorgali and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. We appreciated the locally handcrafted details (ceramics and tapestries) to be found in the rooms and restaurant. If this hotel had a pool it would be perfection :)
The building is BEAUTIFUL and so gorgeously restored.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and beautifully appointed.
The rooftop is STUNNING - offering the most gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding city and mountains.
Breakfast is DELICIOUS (especially the cheese cake).
STAY HERE instead of anywhere else in Cala Gonone - Dorgali is a gorgeous, and much more authentic town and this accomodation is incredible.
Beautiful B&B surrounded by vineyards and countryside views. The infinity pool and terrace area are particularly special. Luciana was an excellent host and helped us book a boat trip as well as with recommendations for activities and places to eat. We particularly enjoyed hiking in Su Gorropu canyon, and Spaggia Osalla (sandy beach near Orosei) as well as a stunning boat trip along the Gulf of Orosei from Cala Gonone.
Nice and clean accommodation on the hill above the town of Cala Gonone. Sufficiently equipped. 2 apartments suitable for 2 families.
I have to appreciate Ms. Alessandra's communication, she answered all our questions almost immediately.
We really enjoyed our vacation in this accommodation and I can warmly recommend it.
The property is a gem nestled in the beautiful hill of Dorgali. Every direction we looked gave us an amazing view of the lush mountains, olive orchards, and small vineyards. The staff were incredible, providing friendly professional service and some of the best food/drinks we’ve enjoyed anywhere in our travels.
Perfect place for relaxing and mind peace.
It is located 15 minutes from dorgali and the beaches.
The owners were extremely nice and welcoming.
Rooms are Daly cleaned.
The food is a culinary orgasm.
Mind you that there is no wifi in the rooms.
Finally it's the ultimate place to relax and come down.
Arriving here was like arriving in paradise, quite the most stunning pool and view we have ever experienced. The hotel is absolutely immaculate and very spacious for the number of rooms which makes it completely relaxing. The staff are exceptional, as is the food. Stunning experience.
Great place to stay at Dorgali and to explore the area. Lucio is a very nice and helpful host, perfect to visit Gola su Gorropu, Tiscali, Cala Gonone, Altopiano del Golgo, Orgosolo and many more. Breakfast is great, easy check-in. Also a good value in November 😀
Cala gonone, the most touristic town in the area, is just few minutes by car. Goritto has free parking and a good breakfast includes. the hosts were extremely nice and willing to help. air conditioning and a small fridge in the room were also very appreciated.
This self catering unit built in the midst of an olive grove is perfectly set for 2 people (with our 2 dogs). A well equipped kitchen, perfectly functional bathroom ... and great hospitality... made for a perfect holiday near Dorgali.
Very comfortable room with beautiful view from the terrace. Friendly, helpful stuff, even though most od them speak only Italian. Plus for taking care of trash segregation. Not far from the Gorropu Canyon and from Cala Gonone.
The site and view were magnificent. It was a serene hotel with wonderful staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were quiet and well spaced out. Finally the food and service were superb. Great find!
Staff was super nice and the rooms were ver clean. Because of the location of this hotel, it was very quiet. The hotel has its own restaurant which is amazing. We had the best lamb chops ever
The location is just a few minutes from Dorgali but completely rural, with nearby orchards and farms. Rooms were quiet and comfortable and very clean. Our host couldn't have been nicer.
