The house was beautiful, the location is gorgeous, the hosts are terrific. The breakfast they provided was varied and delicious. It is unlikely I will ever be in this part of the world again, but if I am, I will definitely stay here.

The entrance to the building is on a narrow street and not very impressive. We were worried at first that the accommodations would not meet our expectations. However, we were not disappointed. The room and bathroom were well-appointed and the room has panoramic views of the Ionian Sea. Angelo the owner is very sociable. He has limited English, but communicates well. He served a delicious homemade snack on our arrival. He recommended a wonderful (and inexpensive) nearby restaurant.

Cerchiara di Calabria is lovely village with nice local people. The nature is amazing - mountains are beautiful and beaches are within 20 minutes of driving. Local cuisine is very tasty, pizza and pasta are awesome. Tiny lovely streets, stairs and views make this village magical.
