Perfect location right on the Main Street with a beautiful view of downtown. Enjoyed watching the liveliness of the down. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. The hosts were extraordinary. Very welcoming and accommodating. Explained everything in detail and ensured we had everything we needed. I wish we would have stayed longer. This is where we will stay when we return to Cava.

The hosts were amazing! Very warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Loved the view from the pool area and really enjoyed that our apartment had a separate entrance.
The place is tucked away between the mountains and the road there a bit curvy, but since we didn't mind driving and being away from the city center's buzz, it wasn't a problem.
Offering an outdoor pool and free bikes, Lady Food Location is set 3.1 mi from Cava de’ Tirreni. The apartment provides free Wi-Fi throughout, and is a 20-minute drive from Salerno.

I came to Cava de' Tirreni to know the town from which my maternal ancestors emigrated from. I was not disappointed by simply wandering around. (Watch out for dog poop on the city sidewalks!) As with many cities, there appears to be a population of stray/unhomed cats in Cava and I'd like to hear that the city is working on best practices for remedying the suffering of street animals by promoting spay/neutering and fostering programs. I also only found Cava tourism brochures (including a free city map) on the last day of my stay in Cava -- at the public library and archive. It would be great if such promotional material was disseminated at all the places on Booking.com's radar.

Cava de Tirreni is a nice lively city and Corso Umberto is great with good shops and restaurants. Cava de' Tirreni is 5 minutes by train to Vietri sul Mare and the sea. Trains are clean and usually punctual. Ticket to Vietri costs 1.28 Euros per person.

This is a lovely town with a looooong history as a vacation spot for the well to do. Today, it's charming and still has much of its medieval-age architecture.
We made this a home base for exploring the larger area - Pompei, Herculeum, Amalfi coast, wineries - it was a great choice and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Italian town, with good food and facilities.
We ate at Osteria Nonna Maria, friendly staff and good value. Great pizza at Pizzeria Da Basilio di Trezza Basilio, mostly does take away, but very friendly.

Nice town, typical Italian, not as touristy as many destinations. Amalfi Coast is ridiculously crowded. Close enough to the coast to visit daily and escape back to sanity. Relaxing little town with lots of shopping restaurants and reasonable prices.

Very good place to chill out for some days.
Very good place to chill out for some days. A car is strongly recommended. There are some very good restaurants in walking distance to the hotel. We liked our stay very much. Ideal starting point for Pompei and the Vesuv as well as the Cilento. I would not recommend to go to Amalfi - although very close - as it is heavily overcrowded.

Really friendly and helpful staff, good reasonably priced food, free parking and comfortable rooms, which are quiet in spite of the hotel being next to the autostrada. Breakfast was a particular highlight, great choice of hot and cold dishes, fresh coffee and an amazing selection of cakes and tarts. We stayed here as we wanted a stop over on the way south and will certainly stay here again, the hotel is right next to the motorway exit.
In brief, the hotel/villa is located on “top” of the mountain and you need to drive up till the end of the road, more or less. Therefore, it provides you with very good quality of breeze and air, as ling as there goes no outdoor event at this accommodation. The staffs, especially the main female receptionist, were superbly attentive and welcoming, which was the BEST part of our two-night staying here.
It’s in the perfect location, right in the middle of everything. It’s clean and simply decorated, and the host goes out of his way to make sure you have what you need and your questions are all answered! The last time I was in Cava I stayed at a hotel that was more expensive (and was nice), but when I go back again I will be contacting Antonio; it was a wonderful place and a great price!
The owners of the apartment are the kindest persons i have ever met on my holidays. They are very kind, well prepared with sightseeing tips and always ready to help in everything. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom are exactly as on the pictures, perfeclty renovated and super clean. 200% good choice to choose this apartment if you travel by car. :)
The property is a fully functional home in a lovely old villa, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the local mountain. The property is very well positioned in Cava—close to food shopping, restaurants, clothes shopping, and the train station. In addition, the hosts are very accommodating, kind, and readily available.
A very charming family run hotel/rooms in the centre of Cava. Free parking is a 10 minute walk away or private parking will costs approx €15.00 a day. Breakfast is coffee/tea & pastries at a bar a few minutes walk away right by the Duomo.
The rooms are situated on the 3rd floor (with no lift) of 19th century building.
We loved everything about this hotel including the care with which it was furnished, the helpfulness of the staff, and the fresh products at breakfast. The views of the mountains and Salerno in the distance are stunning and there is so much to discover on the property. We only regret not being able to stay longer.
Selarno is a beautiful little town, and the property was super-clean and comfy. The highlight was our wonderful host which made us feel at home! The location is excellent, right near the main street which is full of little bars and restaurants in the evening. Very reccomended and great value for money!
very good breakfast. amazing view and quiet environment! Perfect location to be close to the attractions and enjoying some relax for your soul. You have the abbey della santissima trinita'very close to the hotel that is a very special place builded in the rocks and with a museum .
The hotel had amazing views over the mountains and city. My room had a balcony with a view, there’s also a terrace where you can read and watch the view and relax. Breakfast was included (delicious Italian homemade cakes and makers) and fresh. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
This was a last minute booking on our last night in Italy. Fabulous room with great view over the town square. Check-in was quick and easy as the owner met us right away soon after we booked. The town was lovely. Would highly recommend.
Eugenia was an amazing host , her place is super tidy, clean and comfortable, and as Eugenia and her place, cava di tirreni is an amazing city with nice people and restaurants. If i have a chance would definitely come back.
we were on our way back from the amalfy coast.
the hotel has its own parking and is right on the centre of the town we n which is nice: many caffès restaurants shops.
staff were very nice, good breakfast.
Garden was beautiful and ladies working at hotel were very nice. They were very helpful and smiling.Everwhere was clean. We liked so much. If I came to Cava De’Tirreni again, I would choose the same place☺️
The rooms were big and spacious! It’s in the center of Cava with restaurants options downstairs.
We had snacks, juice and water when we arrived which was awesome.
The hotel is up in the mountains- nothing in walking distance. Very peaceful and amazing views - would recommend watching the sunset from the patio! Lovely pool
