Amazing view and an overall stunning location. The apartment is clean and nice. The smell of wood inside, so it makes it more authentic. Costantino is a great host who helped us a lot even though we were a bit late with the check-in, he was waiting for us!

The tiny apartment is to be found in one of the friendliest (and shortest) alleys I have ever seen, close to a fairy-tale square and basically everything in Castelmola. Since it is a very small town built on top of a hill, there are two car parks outside the town where you can leave your car. The apartment is only about a ten-minute walk from there, but be prepared to pay 10 euros per day for the parking. The apartment itself is clean, nicely furnished and equipped with everything and Castelmola is a dream.
Located in Castelmola, Casa Blandano B&B offers accommodation with a balcony or a terrace, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a bar and a shared lounge.

Room was clean, spacious and equipped as advertised. Location is great in the middle of Castelmola (as long as you don’t mind the winding road up the mountain if driving). Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Hilltop house, entire unit with bedroom, toilet, and kitchen
Very clean, has most amenities
15 minutes by car from Taromina, 5 minutes from Castelmola
Ample of private parking space, Car is necessary (not sure about the public transport)
Value for money
I stayed for 2 days; exploring Taromina early in the morning. I started from Castlemola and then took a walking track all the way to Taromina. (about 1 hour). The next morning, we drove to Mount Etna, which took about 1.30 hours. My stay was memorable.
Host Alberto is attentive and excellent. Thank you for hosting me.
Amazing place to stay. We went to Taormina for the day and enjoyed Castelmola during the evenings. Amazing view of the city and Mt Etna from the castle. It was easy to get to Taormina and we used both walking paths to get upto Castelmola, we enjoyed both paths equally. Loads of good shops/restaurants in the area too. Pizzeria Nina for pizza was amazing.

It's a lovely small village above Taormina. It is quiet, has beautiful views and friendly locals. The centre is lively, however not crowded or noisy. It was perfect, we loved it even better than Taormina!

Old Narrow streets, little bars and restaurants with spectacular views from so high, quite small so not too exhausting walking in 30+ temperatures but plenty of choice for refreshments including the famous bar Turrissy. Ours was a "family" visit with my Wife and eldest daughter 39!

You have to climb to go anywhere.
You have to climb to go anywhere. There are only a few shops. Some restaurants don't open until 7pm. The views of Mount Etna are fabulous. It is very safe. Try the almond wine over a bowl of ice cream; you won't regret it.

Castelmola is an exceptional and unique place.
Castelmola is an exceptional and unique place.
The views are incredible, the choice of food is fantastic, and the locals are warm and welcoming.
We were lucky enough to see Mount Etna light up during our last evening there, which made the whole trip for us.
We only had a short stay but felt really comfortable in the apartment. Two separate bathrooms were perfect for a group, comfortable beds, clean, amazing view, 30min walk by foot to Taormina, private parking.
It is a bit challenging to go uphill with the car to Castelmola but in turn you get a very quiet apartment with a great view and some restaurants around.
You can hear the neighbors a bit as the walls are not very thick but we personally did not mind; it was still very quiet in the evening and we slept well.
Castelmola is a beautiful little town about 20 minutes higher than Taormina. It doesn’t have a touristy feel to it, while it has some great restaurants and lovely people.
This little house is right in the center of old town and yet very quiet. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great! Right next door is a great place to get coffee and a chocolate croissant. There is free parking about a 5 minute walk and a bus every hour to Taormina.
Thanks to Adriana, the owner, for helping me!
We loved everything about this Hotel. The location was breathtaking. The room was very comfortable, specious and clean with amazing views. There is free parking just outside the hotel. Breakfast was very varied and generous and the cappuccino was delicious. We also loved the ambience, so welcoming and peaceful, the family run hotel is absolutely a gem of an hotel. Highly, highly recommended. A big thank you to Marcello and son Igor for having given us one of the best week of our lives!
Small but comfortable, quiet, nice and clean apartment with incredible views from the window and terrace.
Very friendly and helpful host. It's hard to imagine more nice person :)
The big advatage is the option to leave your car on a nearby private parking available for the small fee.
Great location - bus transport to Taormina is very easy, charming mornings and evenings in Castelmola without crowds are unforgettable.
We where sad that we stayed only for 3 nights ;)
The location in Castelmola was a beautifully located collection of rooms. Our flight was delayed so we arrived late and the host, Chiara, was absolutely fantastic. Videos of the last stages of the drive into the village and step by step photos of every street and turn, the keys, the room. etc. You could not ask for a more helpful host, who then added more, with restaurant recommendations and discount notes. Thank you.
Wonderful location in Castelmola right on the Main Street. We chose Castelmola over Taormina just to avoid the crowds and enjoy the view. I’m so glad we did. This apartment had a very well stocked kitchen, great hot water, comfortable bed and even a washer (although my clothes wouldn’t quite dry completely in two days). Communication with host was great and we’d absolutely choose to stay here again.
We had such a wonderful stay at the hotel! The family running the hotel is so nice and paying attention to every detail. They really want to make you feel great at your stay. I had my birthday and they were so kind to upgrade us to the suite! They even wanted to prepare something for breakfast because we didn’t find anything gluten-free the day before. Very much recommend the stay here!
The village of Castelmola is beautiful and the property if five minutes or less from the center and from a great mimimarket. It is easy to catch the bus into Taormina. The house is well equipped and there are good supplies of water and fruit juice when you arrive. Giuseppe is a great host and replies promptly to calls for help.
Beautiful modern house situated just 1km from Castelmola. The view from the terrace is awesome and inside you can find all what a family with small kids need. Thw hosts are very gentle and they provided us with sweets, biscuits, coffee, water...I will sure re visit again.
Amazing little B&B on the top of a mountain in a little village called Castelmola. I suggest you climb up there from Taormina, the views are stunning. The room itself is like a hotel but with charm. Incredible value for the money. Amazing hostess. We felt taken care of.
Good location to visit Taormina and stay for a night. Amazing views. Great service from the person at the desk, not so much from the lady serving the breakfast. Wonderful views, nice experience at a vintage hotel.
A superb family run hotel in an unrivalled position high above Taormina and all the tourist crowds. The views of Etna from the bedrooms stay in the memory. Lovely pool area and extensive breakfast choices.
The view from the room was worth a 1 million dollars. At breakfast we spent a lot of time just looking at the view. The location of the hotel was very convenient to a number of restaurants.
Located outside Taormina close to castelmola. Host was great , received us with some drinks and offered great advices on nearby places. Restaurant has lots of options and food was great.
