Great breakfast. Amazing location: in the city centre, only a short walk away to the Reggia. Apparently they offer parking nearby, but I parked in a different (private) parking.

The palace was amazing, the town was great but it is also a quiet relaxed place but close to Naples, Caiazzo, etc. if we’d know it was as close to places we would have booked 3-5 nights there. The breakfast was great.

We went to see the castle.
We went to see the castle. Apart from the castle and grounds, which are spectacular and worth the trip is you are an architecture and garden enthusiast, the town itself didn’t seem to have much going on. There is an historic center and a bit of shopping, but Caserta itself is not an old city. We did not go to the old town, Caserta Vecchio, which is a few kilometers away our purpose in going was to visit the castle & Grounds, which did not disappoint.

The Royal palace definitely is worth the trip.
The Royal palace definitely is worth the trip. It certainly rivals Versailles. The apartments seem endless with so much opulence you can hardly take it all in. The grounds cover 4 km walking in a straight line and give a telescopic view and impression. The marble statues at all the fountains and inside the palace blow your mind. This is a must to visit. Useful tip, they have golf buggy tours very cheap for those that don’t want to walk the 8 km round trip. Also you can hire bikes.Tge English Garden at the end of the long avenue is gorgeous.

The historic center is quiet, pleasant and very nice to walk around. We stayed in I Borbone on Corso Trieste , 400 meters from the Palace . There are trees along the street, good shops and good restaurants. The people everywhere were friendly and helpful. We liked our stay. We came because of the palace which was worthwhile visiting and we’re glad we stayed for the night. We ate at Umami which was very good. I have visited a hairdresser salon “balmain” which was v good .

I liked how friendly the people were.
I liked how friendly the people were. How everything was pretty close together and walking distance from each other. I liked the choices of restaurants and shopping available. The choices of bars were also plentiful. Always something to do. I found this time of year also to be less crowded.
Staff was outstanding. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and our room was comfortable. Having breakfast brought into our room in the morning on a rolling trolly was wonderful. More than ample breakfast for two hungry travelers. Location could not be better, across the street from Reggia di Caserta. Street parking readily available in a neighborhood filled with interesting restaurants. One of the best experiences we've ever had with a non-hotel type establishment. We will return on our next trip to Caserta.
This grand hotel takes your breath away from the moment you step inside. Everything about the stay was exceptional. We felt like we were living in a castle. The chandelier and ceiling in the atrium has to be seen to be believed. The decor is perfect to match it. Service top notch, great breakfast and dining room. The swimming pool area is also outstanding. No need to leave the hotel. Close taxi ride to Grand Palace in Caserta designed by same architect as hotel!
The hotel was just opposite the railway station and right next door to Reggia di Caserta - a perfect location for me.
My room was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished, and had a lovely view of the Palace and the public gardens.
The Housekeeping and Reception staff were efficient and friendly in attending to my requests and answering my questions.
And to Marino, who returned the handbag I left in the restaurant, a huge Thank You.
Maurizia was an incredible host. She was professional, kind and very informative. Her generosity in presenting an aperitivi and local information was perfect and beyond expectations. The location was very good and all was quiet in the center of the town of Caserta. We would definitely return and have already recommended her lovely apartment to friends.
The hotel is fairly conveniently situated if arriving by train, roughly 10 minutes walk from the station.
It has a lovely big garden and an outdoor swimming pool, although the pool was closed during our visit, but this was not a problem for us.
Breakfast was good, coffee and orange juice were excellent.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
5 stars hotel quality but all for yourself! Amazing apartment! You have all you need. Awesome shower. Very comfortable beds. Paid Parking infront of the building. Complimentary big bottle of water, coffee, sugar. Michele greetings you in arrival. 7 minutes walk from the Reggia. Thank you, Michele. We have wonderful stay!
Beautiful hotel, we were staying for 1 night on our travels back to UK, not far from the motorway for onwards travel. Room was lovely and clean and bed was really comfortable. The staff are really helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would definitely stay again on our travels.
We changed to the hotel Royal as the Novotel was closed due to covid. They were very helpful and it was in an absolute brilliant location. Literally next to the Regina di Caserta. Rooms were nice and clean and our window overlooked the Palace. All in all a great 1 night stay
We arrived at the first two rooms and they smelled like smoke. We asked to be moved and the next two rooms also smelled like smoke. Needless to say, we moved to another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are a smoker and don't mind sleeping in an ashtray!
A perfect stay in Caserta. Cas E Charming House is more than charming. Warm, friendly and kind staff, beautiful rooms, and an amazing breakfast. We can't wait to return. The location is ideal for your visit to this lovely town. Grazie mille and buon natale.
nice room, decent breakfast, modern, clean hotel. the parking lot is one block away so a staff member walked in front of our car to show us where to go and how to open the gate. excellent staff
Better than expected, with perfect location with a great view of castle and grounds, big comfortable room with comfortable bed, and a great owner. Also really ;lied the town of Caserta.
Location was great-walking distance to many restaurants & shops. the beds were extremely comfortable and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel was very quiet.
Breakfast was good. The room was plenty size wise. The location of the hotel couldn’t have been much better. The hotel restaurant was very nice. HVAC was very good.
The hotel was very easy to access the palace of Caserta. The owner was nice and caring. We also had good breakfast at the adjacent hotel. We enjoyed our stay.
