We have very nice and comfortable stay here. Room is very clean and we are allowed to early check in, the house is very close to the train station (5 minutes by walk), so very convenient to go anywhere. We will miss here.

It's not a tourist haven, but I went for health care so I...
It's not a tourist haven, but I went for health care so I was not a tourist. The train station has a lot of stairs and no services -- not even posted train schedules, personnel, or ticket office. Gigi's L'Angolo della Pizza is honest and you can sit outdoors. The Dulcinea Bar near the train station as well as Tiziana's beauty parlor next door are both great. Summer bus service is one every hour for the number 4 to Prato, more frequent perhaps twice an hour for the Number 2 to Florence. Nice herb shop on Via Roma in the center and great ice cream mamma papa shop on the main central street.

The price for the 2 nights was a great value, so that made up for having spent more on lunch. The location was rather remote (it took us about 45 minutes to drive to Florence), but our GPS had no trouble finding it. The views from the property were beautiful, as were the olive groves and the surrounding landscape.
