Fantastic hillside cabin/home above Calci. The views are amazing. Watching the sunrise burn off the clouds trapped in the valley, as the sun slowly lights up the other side of the mountains is a memory I won’t soon forget. The house appears hand built, and built with real care and quality. The artistic touches throughout the house, like the rope light fixtures, were a great addition, and show the owner’s attention to detail. Driving up to the house is a bit of an adventure, but well worth the effort. Luigi, the owner, was beyond gracious, and his sincerity and helpfulness was much appreciated. The best comment I can make is that I will be back.

Location is brilliant especially if you are travelling by train. The staff were very friendly and helped to locate a restaurant for a Sunday night meal. The breakfast is amazing lots of choice with something for everyone.
