The staff. Met us at the train depot & drove us to the apartment. Then carried the lady's heavy suitcase up 3 flights of skinny, steep stairs. Seemed clean inside.

After a long travel day, we were greeted by a smiling and waving Marlene in front of Relais Marlene! Our bags were brought to our immaculate rooms. Stocked with waters, drinks, fruit and goodies.
Marlene was a very attentive hostess… she made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable for the evening and made us a reservation for dinner.
She brought us an overflowing tray of a variety of choices for breakfast. The cappuccino was great.

This hotel is made for conferences so was pretty empty on the weekends. The lady in the front office was very friendly. The rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are lovely and modern. The pool looked nice but weirdly we weren't allowed to use it as it was not the right season yet (we were there in May). Breakfast was very good, a large variety of foods on offer. We ate at the shopping centre next door so don't know hat the restaurant on site was like.KarenAustralia

Hotel Velino is 3 mins walk from the station, but on the right side of town for lots of lovely restaurants (only 5 mins walk away). It’s newly refurbished, great aircon and very comfortable beds. The receptionist was very helpful, including giving us advice on how to continue our journey by bus the next day. We had a double plus single all for €90, inc breakfast delivered to the room. The hotel is very good situated to visit Abruzzo. You are in the middle of all the National Parks and in 1 hour you are on the sea side. The people of the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. They have some nice rooms, which were always clean. Also the breakfast is huge and very good. Their restaurant Napoleone is also recommended. Top hotel, many thanks to all people working there.
