An excellent location - the reason I chose it; half way between the Leaning Tower and the Railway station. Good bed, wonderful bathroom and shower, generous breakfast, with a proper cappuccino made by cheerful and helpful staff.
There is lots to see in Pisa other than the Tower (the Duomo museum is well worth the visit), all within walking distance.
By train one can go to Lucca 30 mins (see below, however) and Florence (choose the right train, 1h-1h10 mins). From Pisa airport the Pisamover gets you to the train station (6 euro 50 each, however, so for a group/family, probably cheaper by taxi.) For Lucca, you might consider the bus because the tourist office in Lucca is near the bus station, not the train station.

Overall a great stay. We managed to self check-in around 11 pm. The room was clean and spacious, same about the bathroom. I enjoyed having a high ceiling. We dropped our bags and walked to the tower in three minutes. There were almost no one there at night. The location is exceptional.

Amazing!!! Love the room and the bathroom. The front desk and launch is very modern. The location is not really closed from the touristic area but since we have a car rented we were able to park. Definitely a great hotel.

Excellent location near the tower and other monuments. Also close to the Pisa botanical garden. We had one of the little rooms in the back yard and it was very nice. There’s also a little bar in the main building that serves coffee and drinks and bistro tables in front and back yards where you can relax and enjoy your drink.
