We loved absolutely everything about this Homestay. The view from our balcony was gorgeous and peaceful. The view added a perfect touch to our stay. From our room, we enjoyed the sunset in the valley, and woke up to the tune of chirping birds. The bed was comfortable, and the whole apartment had everything you need for the stay, kitchen, coffee, tead, and bean bags ( awesome!). Hot bucket shower, comfortable bed, and you can request an extra blanket if you need it or if you get cold easily like I do.
The owner was very helpfull and informative. The caretaker doesn't speak any English, but he was very helpfull and friendly.
This homestay is outside Shimla, and the location is in a quiet, and peaceful place. You will want to stay longer than you want to.
If you are driving, the homestay is easy to find and there's parking in the location. Small roads but easy to manage.
If you are taking public transportation, there is 10 min downhill walk from Shongi intersection to the Homestay. Very safe and easy walk.

The location is perfect within Shimla main town. The Ridge, Mall Street, and Christ Church are at your doorstep. There is a beautiful view from the hotel and nice balcony and an enclosed terrace area to see it from. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and everything works well. The manager was so nice and he really helped me out a lot during my stay.
Hotel Silverine is set in Shimla, 2625 feet from The Mall Road. The hotel has a terrace and views of the mountain, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.
