The rooms are spacious, overlooking the lake. Despite being smaller than typical resorts, the interiors provide a unique experience. The surroundings are peaceful, and the backyard is well-maintained for kids to play.
The restrooms are well-kept, and housekeeping is reliable.
Dining options are good. The breakfast buffet offers simple and tasty South Indian options, acceptable even for non-South Indians. For lunch and dinner (à la carte), there are decent choices with reasonable quantity and pricing. The food is stomach-friendly and delicious, prepared by kitchen staff from North-East India. Due to a lean staff structure, orders need to be placed an hour in advance, which is acceptable.
Adequate parking space.

Good view points in Moir point, and a nice trek in Dolphin...
Good view points in Moir point, and a nice trek in Dolphin nose. Plus boating facilities opposite Bryant park and Kodai main lake. Upper lake view road and pine forests made this a memorable journey.
Most over rated place is Guna caves - nothing to see there and overhyped after the movie Manjummel boys. Caves are closed since 2016 is what I heard from the locals.
On the way from NH - you get 2 waterfalls, silver cascade and one more - and Dum dum view point which is memorable and scenic.
Not a lot of veg hotels here - Hilltop view restaurant and Truly herbivore are great choices, avoid Kodai veg restaurant and Punjabi dhaba - overpriced for the quality of food. Did not get a chance to visit Spices of aroma also in city center.
Had melted hot chocolate in Meltiess on the city center road.
All of these places are almost walking distance of each other from the BP petrol bunk next to the city lake.
Temperature in the day was 24-26 and was 15-18 at night. Avoid peak season due to traffic and some restirctions being put in may for limited vehicles allowed with e-pass etc. in place from May 7-30.

Kodaikanal is the best place to travel to during summer.
Kodaikanal is the best place to travel to during summer. But the problem is everybody knows about it and too much of crowd will be seen during holiday season. I feel the place just operates beyond it's capacity to accommodate tourists and most of them are disappointed because of the time one gets to spend on the road in between the jammed traffic

Views from Dolphin's nose in Vattakanal, The pillar rocks, Croakers walk and on the drive to Mannavanur lake are simply mesmerizing.
Eating at Altaf.s Cafe in Vattakanal, 10 Degrees North, The Royal Tibet, Mann Manam, Hotel New Imran Biryani and Cloud Street was fun.
Fruits locally grown in Kodaikanal like plums, pears, passion fruit , oranges, egg fruit were excellent.

We planned to visit few places but due to heavy traffic on 1 May (public holiday), we could visit Pillars rock, Green valley, Pine forest and the lake on the day. Next day we visited Silver Falls and did shopping! That's all.
We had already visited Kodaikanal few times and this trip was to purely enjoy the cool weather without aircon and pollution. Due to rain and crowd on public holiday, the traffic was terrible. Other than that, Kodai is always loveable during summer.
Better to avoid visiting Kodaikanal on public holidays and week-ends during summer!

The hill station will be crowded during holidays and season...
The hill station will be crowded during holidays and season time. Its very very difficult to commute with your own vehicle during these times as you will find it with great difficulty to park your car and visit the tourist spots. I wont go next time during holiday seasons.
Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
Amazing stay. Amazing clean and tidy rooms. The view was just breath taking from the rooms. Service was just unbelievable reception staff were so generous they use to call us for ordering our dinner so that we don't miss on it. Break fast was also good with different varieties and room service was also great. Highly recommended for people visiting for first time and need to fall in love with Kodaikanal s climate and breath taking views. This is the place u should never miss out. :)
The property was perfect for Kodaikanal tourists whether they are Solo backpackers or family or friends. Mine 4 day stay was super as check in was pleasant and Host made all arrangements for my tour from car booking, ordering home cooked foods to guide location to visit. I had great time. Hotel is really walking distance from the main bus stand if one is willing to walk up hill. Definitely recommend friends and stay again when visiting Kodaikanal in future. Thank you.
The property is located away from the hustle of the Kodaikanal town. Very quite with breathtaking view from every room of the hotel. The owner and his team take very good care to meet customer requirements, and to top it all is their food which is home cooked by the management itself. I would consider the meadows during my next visit to Kodaikanal.
Good place to stay. Clean room and washroom. Looks like a new property. Approx 2 km from Kodaikanal lake. Coakers walk Bryant park. 7d theater. Caretaker Mr Rajan is good. He cooks food and is all in one in the property. Homely food. Bfast and dinner available. Lawn is beautiful. Excellent place for groups to stay. Safe and clean
We booked it in advance , however we wanted to see how the place was, it was cancelled by the hotel in the last minute, we called to confirm the time and the person said they have cancelled our booking, thankfully we got something good when we reached there.
Real case of cheating. Person assigned from this so called Hotel is completely unprofessional and uncouth and from what I understand is just a local agent in that location.
Most horrible experience. Will never recommend booking.com
Nice restaurant....... food was good experience was nice..... i recommend this hotel..... room was spacious and neat & clean........ The best hotel..... Front office staff was very friendly every thing was good ...
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. Totally it's sounds good.
