Very hospiable host, a very nice, specious room, the house surounded by a large garden. Very quiet area, but close to Laragh village and Glendalough National Park. We had also access to a private, well equipped kitchen. Lovely breakfasts.
Featuring mountain views, Macreddin Rock Bed & Breakfast offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 23 km from Glendalough Monastery.

Very friendly welcome, excellent breakfast and spacious room. Location is a bit out in the country so we had to drive to get an evening meal, but not a real problem.
Definitely recommend staying there.

The room was spacious and tastefully furnished. The beds were comfortable. Well kept surrounding garden. Good location.

We liked the fact that the Rathdrum was situated in a nice quiet even remote area of Wicklow but yet not far from Wicklow town. The hosts were nice, very helpful and the breakfast was ample. I cannot comment on the main house we were only in the breakfast room as we were in the log cabin at the rear. I would recommend the Rathdrum for a nice quiet stay in the countryside.

Lovely village community, but nothing in the village to do.
Lovely village community, but nothing in the village to do. It's an area where you need your own transport to get around efficiently. Also traffic in village chaotic and parking in the village is inadequate. Nevertheless it is still a nice area to stay in and visit. We do hope to go back in the near future.

From the minute we arrived at the gate to the property, Francis appeared with her smiling face and welcomed us to Meadowbrook. It was lovely to get such a personal welcome while following all social distance guidelines..Francis had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The personalized welcome note and chocolates were a lovely surprise. The property is in a perfect location for exploring the wonderful Wicklow scenery and Francis was very helpful with directions .The homemade treats delivered to the doorstep were a big treat, especially after a long day sightseeing. The families 2 dogs are friendly and very quiet and add to the homely atmosphere of the property.I hope to return to Meadowbrook and stay a little longer next time..
If there were awards for Hostess 's Francis would win First Prize for her hospitality and property.

Fairly centrally located for visiting historical attractions...
Fairly centrally located for visiting historical attractions, or the coast. Not a big choice in eating establishments, but what they had was good. Would highly recommend “Bates” restaurant, down a charming alley. Sadly, “Avondale House”, a local attraction was closed for renovations. Do visit Glendalough!
Daphne was so helpful and flexible. The B & B is really lovely and we were very comfortable. Plenty of space. Very clean. Easy to find. She is not too far from Glendalough and there was parking in the rear. The breakfast was our favorite during our week long stay in Ireland. We had some special requests and she was good enough to work with us. My husband wants me to email her and request the recipe for her porridge. She gave us suggestions for where to eat dinner, etc. She was very friendly and made our stay a great memory.
The apartment is amazing, I'd even argue it's better to book as a group of people rather than just 2 like we did. Enough space to comfortably fit 4-5 people. Good facilities - fully functional kitchen, TV, broad selection of movies to watch if weather is messy. Bathroom on high standard and the living room is massive. Location is grand as it's in the middle of Wicklow and only few minutes away from some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen in all of Ireland.
The hospitality and friendliness of all the staff was exceptional. The food was excellent and enjoyed the white pudding at breakfast time. They were very helpful with our local enquiries about the area and the history of the district. We loved it and was sad when we had to leave. We would have liked to stay longer but reluctantly had to leave. Highly recommend this accommodation at Jacobs Well Hotel in Rathdrum in County Wicklow.
A beautiful peaceful hideaway in the Wicklow Countryside. From first moment to last we couldn't fault this property. Had a thoroughly pleasant, enjoyable and peaceful stay.
Our Host, Ann, was superb. Everything we required and more was provided. Nothing was too much trouble. The Homemade brown bread and Scones were an absolute treat.
Can't wait to get back here again.
Smalll but superbly equipped and well- designed studio in owner’s garden. Fantastic array of food provided for breakfast/ snacks and scones appeared in the afternoon! Very clean and well- maintained. Everything you needed was there. Frances was pleasant and helpful with local information.
Ideal location for exploring the Wicklow Mountains area.
Really satisfied! The room was small but comfortable and clean, we really loved the landlady, she waited for us, our late arrival the first day from the airport. The breakfast is the one we preferred the most during our trip around Ireland, keep it up! We chose the place because near Glendalough and Kilkenny. Thank you for the hospitality :)
Quiet location, short drive from Dublin. The wicklow national park (Glendalough) is close. Plenty of space in the appartment. Good shower. The bed is good but just a size too short for my long legs. The host is very friendly and she made sure we had some breakfast options (eggs, cereal, milk, freshly baked bread and scones).
The property was everything we hoped for on our first night in Ireland. Daphne was an exceptional host and was able to be flexible with our arrival.
The rooms were beautifully inviting and festive with Christmas decorations everywhere. The beds and bedding perfect!
our breakfast was exceptional and delicious!!
Nice and quite b&b. Good open space with a quite outdoor seating and bar area. A little tree house area for kids. About half an hour drive into Wicklow town and Greystones and about 40 minutes to Bray. Tom and his staff couldn't do enough to help and make you feel comfortable.
Very private accommodation, and a fantastic base for exploring Wicklow (especially the national park). Jomi was a fantastic host! She was very helpful with suggesting we use her dryer to dry our clothes when it started raining.
Glenbeg lodge is in an excellent location for touring around Wicklow and Shelley is the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and comfortable and the fantastic breakfast sets you up for the day.
Spotless, comfortable, modern apartment. Ann couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. Lovely treats left on arrival. Great location, quiet but central to alot of Wicklows scenic walks etc.
We loved the location and getting to see a bit of the real Ireland. The apartment was incredible and the apartment was so big. I only wish we had more time to spend there.
Check-in process was very smooth, very friendly staff and perfect location for exploring Wicklow area. We had tasty breakfast and overall it was a nice stay.
