I liked the quiet setting, and the grocery store with post office nearby. Pub also very close. Lovely church next door, beautiful inside. Lovely kind and charming Ukrainian cleaning lady. Generous bedroom size with handbasin in room. Bus stop close but times vary wildly. Often run late to town, cost 6 euros, 15 mins. But they leave town on time.

I and my husband spent 3 nights at the Viking Hotel and I have to say it was a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service better than any other hotel we stayed in. The location is a little bit far from the city centre, but you can easily arrive there by car or by bus. A big plus for us was that the room was quiet and we could catch on our sleep.

Service was exceptional from Sharon and John Luke at reception. Great place to begin your cycle on the greenway. The hotel is 1km from the cycle trail in a quiet rural location away from the busy city centre. Highly recommended.
