The host was brilliant and the area was perfect. Close to restaurants in Laragh, close to scenic spots like Lough Tay and Powerscourt Waterfall. Our host gave great recommendations of things to do in the area.

We got the wrong room, single instead of a twin accommodation but they sort it out for the first night and then the next day they gave us a twin room for the rest of the stay. Great and very friendly staff. The administration does a great job in training them and been visible to all. The only draw back was that we did not get our room clean during our stay, the garbage was full, we only got towels changed.

This is a perfect location for walkers & nature lovers.
This is a perfect location for walkers & nature lovers. The views are spectacular & if you're lucky with the weather, which we were, though it was February, there are some lovely walks in the area, both short & long-distance. Very popular with tour groups & families, especially at weekends ... lots of buggies, bicycles & dogs ... something for everyone! Lovely outdoor seating areas for coffee & snacks & tasty food in restaurant. Don't forget your camera for some memorable & scenic shots during your walks. Wear comfortable footwear to really enjoy & take advantage of the lovely walks, especially around the lake , up towards the waterfall ... so much to see & enjoy ... for adults, kids, & doggies too! Will definitely return!

We have visited Laragh on three different trips to Ireland, and we are always eager to return. It is a scenically beautiful area. We love walking the trails at Glendalough amid the ancient monastic ruins, and the drive through the Wicklow Mountains is stunning. Over the years, we also have enjoyed several day trips to nearby Russborough House with its art, gardens, interesting history, and excellent restaurant. The Wicklow Heather restaurant is world class, and the cafe in the center of Laragh has excellent homemade soups and food.
Laragh is a great part of any trip to Ireland.

Laragh is just over a kilometre away from the honey pot of Glendalough which, when we were there at the weekend, was heaving with visitors. Laragh is a good place to stay because you're away from the crowds and I suspect that the dining options are better than in Glendalough. There are lots of walks into the hills from Glendalough and it is indeed a beautiful place. The long distance Wicklow Trail passes within a kilometre of Laragh. Good public transport connections either direct from Dublin by coach or by train from Wicklow and there is a bus service to connect with the trains at Wicklow.

Our hostess, Ericka, was very pleasant and helpful. She made us feel like valued guests or even family. The Lodge common rooms were very comfortable and tea, coffee, and tasty snacks were available at all hours. The grounds are very nice as well. The area around Laragh is beautiful with Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains nearby. An especially nice feature of our stay was the free driver service to the local restaurant, The Wicklow Heather, where the food and atmosphere were both excellent. We will definitely stay here in future.
Charming, quaint, located right on the Wicklow Way. large Irish breakfasts. An older building but everything functioned. Quiet location. at the end of the road so nearest town is a half hour walk away. Best to have a vehicle, we did not. Short walk to historic monastic center, well preserved. Ten minutes to National Park info center and trails map. We walked 30 minutes to Lynhams Pub in Laragh for excellent pub dinners and atmosphere.
The house was very well presented- Erika was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and excellent shower room. There was a small kitchen with coffee pods, milk etc. Comfortable sitting areas with lovely views. Wicklow Heather restaurant beside for meals- note breakfast from 9.30 weekdays, 9.00 weekends
Love this house, it is such a gem in a beautiful and historic part of Ireland. This was the original school house and subsequently operated as a restaurant. The owner maintains it with such character and style. The conservatory and TV room really are the icing on the cake. Great for a family re union.
We came up to Laragh on a nice Sunday. The area is beautiful. The room was in the front of the house, very quiet and larger than expected. The simple offerings for breakfast were great and room was comfortable with small seating area included. Very clean. Host gave us directions to pub.
The property is a beautiful house and garden very well maintained. The room was a really great size and the location is wonderful for those who enjoy hiking the wonderful garden of Ireland. Wonderful staff who are very warm and friendly. The breakfast was perfect. Not one complaint here.
Very comfortable private apartment in a great location close to Glendalough to services in Laragh village. Hosts were available and very friendly. Comfortable bed, excellent shower. Breakfast in room is very convenient.
I was very pleased with my stay and would return again / recommend Lynham's Hotel to others. We had an excellent breakfast and friends who were glamping nearby were welcomed to breakfast too. Parking was managed well.
Nice breakfast. Rooms where clean and comfortable. I don't think it's worth the price but the location is priceless so I guess that's why it's a bit more pricey for a pretty standard hotel. Would stay again though.
I liked that we were so close to the village of Laragh that we could walk to the village and get something to eat. The bathroom facilites are spotless, would highly recommend Glendalough glamping
A good base for exploring the area near Glenadalough. Heather House was a nice little place to rest. The room was very clean. We arrived late and so checked in at the Restaurant next door.
Staff was incredibly friendly in both advice for the night & future Ireland travel, the morning was beyond picturesque because of the location, and the shared facilities were spotless!
Wonderful location and beautiful room. Friendly and accommodating host. And the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Short easy walk to two restaurants and small retail area.
He location, the nature, the nearby archeological sites, and the wonderfully helpful receptionist and caretaker Eugenio. He is the best of Spain in the best of Ireland.
