Upon walking in the place had an "Olde Worlde" feel which I tend to like - lots of pics on the wall from the hotel in days gone by, and generally an air of 70's charm. However, as we walked to our room there were child's drawings blu-tacked to the wall, and there was a child kicking a football in the hallway. It became clear that we were staying in a direct-provision center. The trip went downhill from there.

Location right by the river, plenty of parking at the rear. Room very good, tea/coffee in room. Big bathroom. Shame we didn’t have a river view, but otherwise fine, would stay again,.
