Breakfast went well dinner went well. Only problem came with the limited choice at all meals. More effort could be made in choice of meals for vegetarian options.

The Lodge is located next to the main road just a couple of minutes from Donegal. It has its own private parking. The room was modern, very warm and all we needed for a one night stay. In case of feeling cold, there was a heater available for the bed as well. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. The host was the most wonderful, she was super helpful with suggestions and all in all a really pleasant person. I would definetely recommend staying here.

North west Donegal has spectacular beaches without any doubt. There are far too many houses built on land that has sea views, this has to be ignored by any visitors.
The Fanad peninsula was the best place, not as developed.

Donegal is one of the loveliest parts of Ireland and always worth a visit, from the wild countryside to Errigal mountain and the rugged coastline. The people are very friendly and welcoming. This was a short visit, but I have been before and stayed longer.

O' Donnell castle or Donegal castle was the highlight of our stay, plus a visit to Slieve League, as it was raining so much we just travelled around in the care, taking in the views as we could. Donegal is a great County to visit but you need the sunshine to see it at its best. If you visit Ireland, Donegal is a must place to go. Tara Hotel in Killybegs is the place to have your meals, great food great staff.

If you plan to tour County Donegal take your time and look behind the "usual" tourist spots as there's lots of little gems to be found. Don't just follow the crowd on the WAY trail and ticking the box ! Scenery is stunning and some off road sandy beaches are amazing.
This is an exceptionally appointed hotel and located in silvan surroundings by Lough Eske a few miles outside the town of Donegal. The staff were most welcoming from the moment we walked through the door and could not have been more friendly and this includes all staff who bade us a 'good morning' whenever they passed inside or outside the hotel. The whole dining experience whether in the main restaurant or bar area was a delight. Servicing of our room was undertaken daily and most thoroughly.
The location is a tiny slice of heaven. 10 minutes out of Donegal Town on a winding road in the trees. The vet from the property over Lough Eske is incredible! The garden and grounds are stunning and it gives a fairytale feel to the entire stay.
We were the only 2 guests that night and the owner couldn't have been nicer! She made a beautiful breakfast for us, a good strong cup of coffee and terrific conversation! I would go back here in a heartbeat!!!
Beautiful property in a truly idyllic location with most wonderful hosts in Patsy and Anne. Couldn’t be more welcoming or hospitable.
Everything about this property lends to a really nice relaxing stay. Location is incredible for Walks Hiking Cycling etc while at same time only a short spin to Donegal town. Breakfast Cleanliness and hospitality of a very high standard. Would highly recommend.
Theresa the owner was unbelievably welcoming and kind. I would go back there and stay again just because of how amazing she made our stay. Patricia at breakfast was another highlight. So kind and attentive. I would recommend this beautiful BNB to anyone who is looking for a BNB feel in the hills of Donegal, but want that hotel feel. This place has it all.
I liked location ,my accommodation, staff where exceptional friendly, loved donegal town ,great selection for breakfast ,food was lovely ,I came on this trip for a trip down memory lane for my late mother who was born in laghey so emotional everything just fell into place I certainly will be back again lovely hotel.
A bit of a walk to town but not horrible. It turned out to be closer than it appeared. The room was small but nice and the owners were friendly and very helpful. Being in Ireland for three weeks, we had more luggage than normal and found the room a bit tight. Otherwise a great stay.
The included breakfast was nice and the breakfast itself was really good. The check-in process was very easy and hassle-free. The host was extremely kind, and the location of the place was super close to everything in Donegal (which is also a really nice town).
Our hostess was really friendly and helpful. It was so nice to have a choice of breakfast besides the full Irish breakfast which we had for the past two weeks. Comfortable room and a short drive to Donegal town and a great dinner at Biddy O'Barnes.
Excellent hotel. Walking distance to Donegal town; family room was really big and spacious with a separate shower and bath; food was great with a large selection to choose from; Really well decorated with a nice ambience and plenty of parking.
Our location was perfect! A quick walk into the heart of Donegal Town.
our Host, Geraldine was a delightful person and very helpful. We loved breakfast and it was exactly what we needed for exploring beautiful Donegal County.
Friendly welcome from Stephen. Couldn't have asked for anything else at the DIY breakfast table. Room clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of towels. Shared bathroom clean. Price was a bargain as super handy for Donegal Town.
Spacious and extensively refurbished and remodeled rooms above an old traditional Irish bar.
Centrally located but very well soundproofed.
Main bus stop just steps away outside the Abbey Hotel
Highly recommended.
The breakfast, although not included is something everyone should get - it was great! The location of this hotel in Donegal Town was ideal - close to everything. Comfortable stay.
Fantastic property, homely and nice view. Owner met us on site and had left milk and cake - perfect for large family get together not far from Donegal town
