The room was large with a view of the sea. Bathroom was larger than aaverage with an excellent shower. Breakfast is fresh cooked for each client to individual tastes. I would strongly recommend for anyone visiting the area or travelling to or from Rosslare.

Beautiful property and lovely location. Homemade jam and bread left for us which was a lovely touch. The host also gave us great tips where to go and restaurant for dinner.
Our second trip here in a great location. Some great beaches down Ardmore way as well as the farm and mini zoo. Close to the town of Youghal for anything you need. The cottage itself is clean cozy with a great view across the bay. The host Eileen is great text us the second day to make sure everything was going ok for us. I Highly recommend we'll be back again.

The house was very clean and comfortable and all the better that it was dog friendly. The area is secure so the dog could not get out onto the road. It was easy to find and a good base for local sight seeing. There were a few thoughtful touches by the hosts. Asking was extras such as travel cot was no problem. The view is gorgeous and lovely to sit out in the evening. It is located on a main road and can be busy and loud during the day but by evening when we returned was much quieter.

This is a group of houses between Youghal and Clashmore near the Waterford bank of the beautiful River Blackwater. The cottage is a former gate house. You need a car to get around but Youghal is only a few minutes drive and has a range of places to eat - the best is the excellent Aherne’s: great fish and seafood and super friendly service. Fish and chips at the Roma Cafe wasn’t bad either! The Waterford coast from Youghal to Tramore (the Copper Coast) is spectacular. Lismore Castle (beautiful gardens); Rock of Cashel; Cork; Ardmore (the rather swish Cliff Hotel has an amazing view); the Knockmealdown mountains: and the charming Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens in Tramore are all within easy reach. We have family near Youghal and had not visited for a while - but we were reminded of how lovely the place is and how friendly the people are.
