Myself and family went for one night but ideally you would want to spend at least two nights here. It is in a remote area so the lake and the hotel itself is really what is so lovely about Kilronan. The castle itself is gorgeous and exactly what you'd expect from the pictures online. The staff were very friendly and we asked for late checkout as we couldn't stay for two nights and they kindly let us which was great. The food was lovely myself and my son ate in the casual dining hall and there was a lot of choice which was great.

The property was absolutely fantastic. Very clean, bright, modern and spacious. It had anything and everything that you could imagine, as it was extremely well equipped. There were many extra touches too which we highly appreciated and welcome such as bathroom toiletries, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products, with also a linen/storage cupboard to back up these supplies and plenty of extra towels and blankets if you want them.
The rooms are all very spacious and the house is much bigger than it looks from the photos. Plenty of room for a couple of families to enjoy together.
Really easy and quick responsive for all communication with the owners. Just an all round beauty and comfortable house with stunning views across the lake.
