Barrow House, hotel in Ballyheigue

This property is set on the beach. Barrow House offers waterfront accommodations in a Georgian manor house, and set on 2 acres of its own private beach.

Exquisitely restored manor house facing out onto Barrow Harbour, making for an amazing luxury place to base yourselves on a motoring holiday of west Ireland. Darragh the owner is exceptional. She has a rare gift for genuine hospitality spiced with humour and quickly wraps you in lively conversation that leaves you feeling like old friends. The breakfast is generous, the menu is amazing and served around an old dining table that feels like a Jane Austen novel. Book while you can. I have a feeling this place will become so popular you can’t easily get in. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

My accommodation was superb. Beautiful beach. I didn't have to move my car, I appreciated the rest to walk and swim. I would have liked to stay longer and do more. IT is also in a good location from which to visit other towns in Kerry or places of interest. Listowel and Tralee are not far away.

I stayed here a very long time ago. And the location is lovely .. so close to the beach. It's an older style hotel that is filled with atmosphere and charm. Even just post lockdown and with all the restrictions we had a lovely stay. The staff were great and the food was good too. No complaints.
