The hotel was amazing.. it didn’t fail to amaze and shock us at how well everything was. The infinity pool, to the food wow that was delicious. The staff wore amazing, always around and always helpful. The most relaxing hotel we have ever been in and every facility was just perfect. We will definitely be back in the future.

Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we knew we were going to love it there. It oozes quality and charm. We were greeted with a big Irish welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our room was gorgeous and the bed, huge and very comfortable. The food - both dinner and breakfast - was exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Very convenient, clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good and we eat in the hotel on two nights and were very happy.
A good location to explore Beara Penisula. Close enough to Kenmare for shopping, but also close to some key attractions like Eyeries, gardens, Dursey or Bere island (all within 20 to 40min drive).
Weather is predictable i.e. it will be drizzle during your stay there. When its nice, it is great, but that is not the case 8 of of 10 days. However driving a bit to the west, or to the south, where key attractions are anyway, usually clears the sky. Some roads are very very narrow, but there is not too much traffic way less then in ring of Kerry, Dingle or West Cork.
