Absolutely amazing views of the Galtee mountains so close to the hotel.
Great staff and food and lovely walks, and an easy short drive to access the trails into the mountains and Galtymore itself.
I was staying there on my own in between visiting family, and felt very welcome at the hotel, and comfortable walking alone in the surrounding area, which is so beautiful, quiet, and unspoilt.
In a peaceful countryside location, this 4-star hotel offers spacious accommodation and superb facilities, including a leisure centre, spa and golf course.

We didn’t realize that they have several hiking trails with beautiful views. Would have loved to try one, time wouldn’t allow.
The food in the lounge was wonderful and the servers were very attentive.

Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Didn't like the dark dreary No. 206 twin room and having to carry our hand luggage up two flights of steep stairs as there is no lift.
Hotel needs modernisation and a makeover

Just outstanding!!
Just outstanding!! Location is breathtaking with a fab view of the Glen and the Galtee mountains. Staff were very friendly from start to finish. The only downside was there was no lift, so if you are impaired in any way request a room downstairs. Food was absolutely delicious aswell.

I would not recommend anyone to stay there expecting anything other than a 1 star rating, hotel does not meet IS:3218 :2019 fire standards, this is a requirement by Irish law... no breakfast included in the €105 for one person in a room facing a tree/forest 10 feet from the window. Tiles broken and uneven nearly cut my foot on the sharp edge, when informed staff they didn't really say anything, receptionist barely acknowledged me on departure.

We stayed just one night and we were expecting a peaceful one but even though this hotel is rather remote up in the Galtee Mountains it was far from peaceful. There were doors slamming, alarms going off and noisy TVs heard through the walls.
It would be great for hikers and bikers I’m sure though if they are deep sleepers. We arrived at 7.30pm after driving up very narrow twisty lanes and it took us a good 20 mins from town to find the hotel. We went down for dinner at 8pm only to be told they were running out of food! The restaurant didn’t close until 8.30pm. The choice we eventually got was small due to us being Pescatarian.
The rooms are clean and beds are comfy but the shower over the bath had a clinging curtain which was very irritating. An upgrade would make this place a lovely hotel. The parking was great too as it is onsite, free and plenty of it. The staff were not that welcoming.

Stunning views from the Hotel. Food was fab!
Stunning views from the Hotel. Food was fab! Staff were very friendly & helpful.. Bedrooms were spotless in our lodge with beautiful view from main bedroom with balcony. Downstairs however needed a bit of tlc!
Absolutely wonderful B&B! Remote location from Cashel which my wife and I loved. Beautiful patio area and the restaurant attached was very accommodating and very good. Portion sizes are large so be careful! This time of year everything was in bloom and we could not of had a better time. Breakfast was amazing and Mary was very helpful in helping us plan our next two days. We have no question that we will return and for a longer stay.
Dinner was delicious and staff were very good and kind. The lodges themselves were clean and well looked after in so far as continuously rented out lodges can be. They had most things you would need for a short or long term stay. Hotel nearby has stunning views out over the valley.
The Aherlow Hotel is just simply beautiful. The views from the hotel are outstanding. We had such a relaxing time, the food was gorgeous, staff were so nice & we had the best time. There are amazing walks nearby & your not too far from town if you want to do a spot of shopping.
We stayed in the lodges and they were just beautiful and very clean also. Location and views were just amazing . It was super easy for us to get taxi in and out from Tip town . Breakfast at the hotel the next morning was also very nice !
The view from the front of the hotel was fantastic. The bed was very comfy and the dining room and bar area are very welcoming. Location was handy for doing some nice walks.
This was my third short break at this hotel this year. love location remoteness food hospitality. will be back to enjoy all of above and all local forest and mountain walks .
Location in the Glen of Aherlow was stunning. Lodges were spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Bar/food facilities available at the hotel with wonderful staff
