Not a party place, better for couples or family. Plenty of things to do but need to get transport to most. Has 2 good mini marts close by, (but no pavements). One of them sells alcohol. Temple and fire show well worth a visit, book a ticket a few days ahead because often sold out. Watch out for the monkeys, they’re quite aggressive and steal anything, even the glasses off your face and break them! It was second time we stayed in Le grande Bali. Experience was good, excellent customer service, staff well prepared ready to help, friendly and professional. Breakfast is good but could be a bit better. We had this experience the day we left and Putu the person that were at service that morning were like an angel. We checked out on 23/3 at 4:30am and the driver we booked to drive ud to the airport did not show up. Putu realized my partner and I were desperate and had this great idea to drive us to the airport and we did not miss our flights. Five stars to him!!! Thank you, Audrey

Visitors should be aware of that Uluwatu has no city centre as such as it is widely spread out along the coast. Bingin beach was dirty with lots of plastic waste on the sandy beach. Did not want to go into the water. Great place to eat is Seed - lovely food and you can sit in the garden. Great staff there, highly professional and very kind.AndreaAustria

The hosts Bu-Made and Aldina have made sure we have been well looked after and were able to assist us make many of our plans and arrangements. The Villa is slightly off the main road so its lovely and peaceful with a beautiful garden and pool - but you also have all the beaches, a great variety of restaurants and lots of shops all around you. Don't miss the experience of the Kecak Temple Fire Dance at sunset.

Our little house with plunge pool was divine. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Bali. Poached eggs with pulled pork was to die for. Staff were lovely and the resident dog, Maya was so cute. You really need to ride a scooter when staying as it's a 5 minute ride back to the road near Padang Padang beach. So many beaches close by to explore.
