Quiet, simple no frills or fuss
Alpie the chef and allrounder cooked great food and provided us with transport to the harbour.
Staff and owners were polite, engaging and helpful.
The value for money.room was simply furnished bed comfortable, fan and air con kept mozzies at bay.Cold shower worked well for us.
Come prepared for a an experience based on the price.Be open minded, respectful and embrace the local culture.It's a predominantly Muslim culture with lots of mosques nearby so you will be woken pre sunrise with amplified prayers.Time to then fall back asleep or go for an early swim or walk.

Our stay at Jago Gili Air couldn’t be more perfect! Room is modern and clean and the staff cleans it every day. The pool area is amazing, they also have a bar so you can chill and order some drinks. Breakfast was the best we had in Bali and Gilis- you should try their smoothie bowls (they are better than in most brunch places in Bali!). The staff was the kindest and we are so grateful we met them! This was our definetly our best stay! I would recommend this place to everyone coming to Gili Air, you will not be dissapointed.

The cottages are wonderful, with everything you need in the room for storage, a very comfortable bed with clean and soft sheets, and a stunning outdoor-ish bathroom with plants.
The place is also currently still improving with new additions, for example black out curtains were even added to our room for our last night, a great plus.
The surroundings of the cottages are peaceful and beautiful with lots of trees, flowers and plants. The pool is big and clean.
The location is ideal, nearby the beach on the east side of the island which is perfect for snorkeling at high tide.
The hosts are so kind and helpful!

Lovely bungalow, very clean. This is beachfront and you can swim from the beach a short walk away from the hotel. The bungalows are very quiet and peaceful, the pool was nice and cool to swim in.
