It has a great location with parking lot for cars and motorbikes. Right in front of the ricefield, it’s nice to take a walk in the morning during sunrise. Nice clean room. They also have restaurant with nice food.

The location was perfect if you wanna explore the nature. They organize trips with the car from the accommodation to the ricefields, waterfalls., temples. If you like to hike you can go with a guide to the temple, jungle and ricefields. The views are stunning. We enjoyed the peace in the area.
The food was home made with ingredients from the garden. Very tasty. You can also watch them while cooking in the evening, they have a nice open kitchen. I learned a lot of recepies there.
You can also enjoy the healing massage, does miracles.
Sleeping with the sound of the frogs and crickets brings you to another world.

We loved how sweet and accommodating the family was. We were shown around the grounds and offered tours to explore the surrounding area for a good price. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner options were tasty too.

Our stay at Saridevi Ecolodge is an experience we will never forget. Overlooking rice terraces, surrounded by nature and fruitful vegetation. The atmosphere is intimate and the family/host makes you feel like you are one of them from the moment you arrive. There are only a few cottages on property so very minimal other guests and so quiet/peaceful. Everything they make for you is picked directly from their garden on property and prepared for you. With that, their menu is limited and all local cuisine. Absolutely everything they made for us was delicious. Breakfast is a fixed menu. They helped us plan a day trip to do on our own and arranged a scooter for us to take out for the day. Anything we needed, they were there to help us. Highly recommend experiencing a stay with Saridevi Ecolodge.

This was pure harmony looking out over the rice terraces. Harmony of humans, earth and spirit. I loved listening to the sounds of frogs and birds from the lovely wooden porch and cottage. The best for getting away from all the craziness of the world. And it was very cool there too.

It was a cozy place nested in the middle of nature, Ibu Nyoman was so accommodating, they prepared a bed for our driver which not so many places do in Bali, we helped her in cooking, we prepared a very comfy family dinner together, set up the table, in the morning the place was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and the toilets were open to the sky and natural, loved everything, above all the cute kitten kept us entertained all night and day.

This is an outstanding place . Fantastic design and beautiful furnishings. Great location literally right in the centre of jungle ,amazing views. The staff were amazing, from the in-front desk to the security who were super welcoming, and helpful. Place super tidy and clean. Fast and stable wifi. Highly recommend - we will be back definitely.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access.
The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc.
The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while.
He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

The region of Jatiluwih is known for the beautiful rice fields. You really have to make a tour through these rice fields by walking. We did the bicycle tour, but without electric bike this is not recommended, because of the very hilly course at the end.
We drunk a cup of nice Balinese coffee and ate a delicious pineapple pancake in the village and we noticed that everyone there is nice, helpful and relaxed. We love this place!

Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat. Plenty of organic fruits to eat. You can laze around and visit places at your own pace. No other mode of transportation than renting a car, though. Would have love to have a local public transport.

Beautiful rice terraces with well-signed walking paths that let you enjoy them thoroughly. There are a number if restaurants with a great view over the rice terraces. I chose the pricier one called Gong Jatiluwih. The food was very nice and the view excellent. The place also has an ATM

Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area.
Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area. Very good walking and cycling on tourist paths around terraces. Could see the well maintained water irrigation systems in action.
Walked up the hill round the corner from the rice terraces to the temple at the top of the villages and then found the trekking path and trekked through the forest to the top of Mount Batakaru that is Bali's second highest mountain.
Area is therefore very good for rice terrace views and mountain trekking.
Tegal Jero is located in a wonderful area of mountains, jungle, rice terraces, close to a charming village and temple. Adi, the host was friendly and helpful. We recommend excursions with Yoman, the taxi driver and especially recommend a trek in the jungle with our wonderful guide, Koman. The unit included two bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom and a living area. The lanscape was beautiful. We had a great time staying at Tegal Jero. Excellent value for money.

This is a very artistic house, with amazing views of the near-by volcanic mountains.
It's a quiet place so bring a book for the sun lounger. The staff prepared an unexpected array of traditional.dishes for dinner which we ate by candle light. They even lit an open fire in the evening. Breakfast was also very nice. We enjoyed their own home grown tea and were given a gift of tea when we left. Very nice people.
The place, it's quite magical with one of the best rice paddies views in Bali, in my opinion. It's close to nature, but not immediately surrounded by forest of trees, thus the open landscape, airy, and bright. Pak Gede the owner is kind, warm, and genuinely extends balinese hospitality to the guests. I ordered dinner cooked by his wife, and the portion was big and tasted good, for that price, it was a real steal.
I ate the most delicious food in Bali at the hotel restaurant, we always had dinner here in the evening, enjoying the concert of frogs at tables overlooking the rice terraces. The balcony of the accommodation offered a fulll panorama view of rice terraces, which was incredibly beautiful, one of the best decision was to visit Jatiluwih rice terraces. Staff was very friendly and helpful to organize our daily trip.
The hotel is very close to the rice terraces of Jatiluwih although it’s super quiet and the view from the rooms is just beautiful. The staff was really nice and helpful, we were the only ones staying that night and they cooked a delicious Indonesian meal for us. The continental breakfast was also very good! The room was big and clean, with TV, fan and a large bathroom with hot water. The bed was really comfy.
I stayed here when I visited Jatiluwih rice terraces. 15-20min ride from there. I loved the surrounding as it is at the end of a village, with nice garden area, very quiet. My cottage was simple, but clean and cute, not too close to other cottages, made me feel very private. They have a bar restaurant area with a cute dog and a cat. Adii is very nice and talkative, make sure your stay is comfortable.
The best place in Bali! We have been around Bali for 10 days and moved in many different locations, and this one is the best so far!
Very friendly, clean, view and sound of nature is great! We stayed in the open room and we loved it! Wish I was able to stay longer! The food is the best I had in Bali as well! Better than many restaurants, a lot of local ingredients!
100% recommended
So yourself a favor and stay there for one or two nights.
- Clean, spacious, redone rooms with lots of light.
- View over the terraces - from your bed.
- Steps away from the trails.
- Near restaurants.
I felt good there. I would come back and work remotely from there if I wanted to escape the traffic of Ubud and take some fresh air on the trails.
Very nice house in the original balinese rice fields. The host Gede is a great guide too and offers trekking while sharing his knowledge about nature, culture etc. Breakfast is great. Restaurants eq Warungs and the typicall small shops are in walking distance. All around very friendly people. We really enjoyed it.
The staff here are very lovely and helpful, and the rooms are very comfortable and conveniently laid out with power points near the bed. The view from the hotel is stunning, over the UNESCO World Heritage Jatuliwih Rice Paddies, and all of the nearby restaurants and shops are within a minute or two's walk.
One of the best secret hideout in the island. Lovely, authentic, gracious host. Yummy organic local snacks / desserts. Great team. They are supporting circular economy by introducing local’s crafts & shopping ingredients locally. Heavenly location / spot. Wish all Bali’s hotels have mindset like theirs.
I finally got a chance to rest. The place is so peaceful. I love the nature surrounding it, the terrace overlooking rice fields with many fireflies visiting at night. The owner, Dewi, is so kind and helpful. And the breakfast was so delicious. True Balinese cuisine. I will definitely come back!
So many things to mention, stunning garden and space, very quiet location with reserved local authentic. Walking distance (ideally with scooter) to jungles, plantations, beautiful rice fields, Jatiluwih…Food in the hotel also very tasty with organic and vegan options.
Best views and nicest host, I will definitely be back. The hosts are amazing, very helpful, and all of the meals are home-made with the fruits, vegetables, and rice from the garden. The best place I've stayed at during my time in Bali!
Fantastic and cozy place in the middle of rice terraces. Very hospitable owners-family. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Breafast is tasty.
Place is absolutely above expectations.
very nice place for a short stay, clean small rooms surrounded by rice terraces, very nice staff, if you wish, you will be escorted to Jatiluwih, take beautiful photos
