The location is wonderful with ocean and pool swimming. The buffet restaurant has an amazing variety. Room is perfect, staff is great! Wish I could have stayed longer.

From the moment I arrived in the property I felt like I was in paradise and kept pinching myself throughout the entire stay. Maria was very communicative before my arrival, helping to provide transportation information and directions. They allowed me to arrive early with access to my private beach space and even bought groceries for me since I did not have a car. SO friendly and attentive!!! The private tent and all public spaces were beyond beautiful. Fully equipped outdoor kitchen, paddle boards at the beach and very reliable wifi. Cannot recommend enough!!

Loved the location, so quiet and away from the busy tourist areas, close to the beach and close to the township. Lovely host and spa pool on the roof for relaxing in at the end of the day.

Basina is about 4km from the town of Vrboska, in a very quiet location and the beautiful sea is 200m away. Along the shore you can find shade in the pine trees and there is enough space everywhere so that you don't disturb anyone. The beach is rocky with sharp rocks, so I wouldn't recommend it for families with small children, but there are plenty of suitable beaches for children in the surrounding area. If you like cycling, I suggest you bring your own bike so you can explore the beautiful nature on your bike. The apartment is beautifully furnished and very clean, the owners are friendly and extremely hospitable, we really felt great.

The bus ride to this location was a bit of a nightmare and not easily found or access. Despite of 1 hour cushion, bus ride back to catch my ferry was insanely long & I made it by 1 minute to spare. I encountered lots of hostile locals. After arrival with bus, I texted my Host for direction & no reply. A local girl helped me or I would not have found It. The building is big, sad looking and not updated. The rooms are decent size but bed is old, sheets are thin and really grandma style. The bathroom has cracked tiles all over, super dated & depressing. The communal kitchen is large but lacks many basic things. The communication with Host was challenging and not super warm. The nearby town was not charming, tiny and restaurant options limited. The best part about my stay was the A/C and than was it.
Vrboska is not too crowded and is just right for families.
Vrboska is not too crowded and is just right for families. There are many beautiful beaches, good location for walking and not far from Jelsa or Stari Grad. There are two supermarkets just 3 km away, but also two smaller markets in center of Vrboska.

Vrboska is a small town but still lots happening. It is a 30 to 40 minute bud journey from hvar town so still easily accessible. There are a number of beaches within walking distance from Vrboska, closest being about 10mins and the furthest being 30. There are places to rent boats and scooters. Loads of bars and restaurants to visit! The locals are all very friendly and the town is so beautiful. Perfect for a quiet get away !

Nice city, public beach is quite ok, however, there are a lot of small bays near where you can perform snorkeling with all family members. Lots of nudists in this area, no issue with our side, however, we heard from few families that they could wear something where are on public forrest path. On the opposite side of bay in the city, is located restaurant Luka-Gardelin - definitely worth to eat there - excellent food and much cheaper, octopus from oven - delicious!

Vrboska is very picturesque yet more laid back than some of the other towns in Hvar but there's still everything you need with a good selection of bars, cafes, restaurants, shops. The beaches are outside the main town but it's a pleasant walk or cycle through the woods at the edge of the water to the Soline beach (suitable for families) with bar and restaurant. If you want somewhere quieter just walk further along tree lined path by the water to find a spot.

Nice little town with nice beaches nearby ... Didn't like the prices, 20EUR for a 10km taxi ride? Food in restaurants is mostly not that good, often it's to expensive or sometimes badly portioned. I'm talking about what normal person can afford (10EUR to 20EUR meals per person) ... I'm sure If you are willing to pay more that you will be able to get something really good .... But I was disappointed ...

The town is lovely, head for a stroll at night around and have dinner at one of the restaurants by the harbor, rent a bike and explore the areas around Vrboska, join the excursion from Vrboska to Bol, pay a visit to Jelsa
House Morko is situated in magical small town of Vrboska, ideal starting point for island exploration.
The house is a perfect blend of old stone charm and history with modern equipment. Inside, you'll find anything you might need during your stay. Clean, quiet, spacious, with a beautiful view.
Exceptionally warm and friendly family of hosts, with long tradition in tourism and hospitality.
Don't forget to look into your fridge, you'll find some homemade vine there. That is how welcome works in House Morko.
Marina was a great host, offered to pick us up from the bust stop. She gave us a mini tour in the car so we knew our way around. The apartment was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The apartment was perfectly placed between the centre and the beaches on the other side. The views from the roof terrace were breath-taking! Perfect for watching the sunset from the Jacuzzi. If can, I highly recommend their family restaurant too for traditional Croatian food!
The apartment is in the historical centre of picturesque little town Vrboska, several steps from all facilities and evening cultural events in the attic of renovated old dalmatian house. It has a yard with several ralaxation zones where you can find a shadow or a sun all day long. It is perfectly equiped and the hosts living on the ground floor are very nice and helpfull. Vrboska has a good location for investigating Hvar close to all the other towns.
Laura was really friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfy with air conditioning. Located 3minutes from loads of bars and restaurants. There was 5 or 6 beaches all within walking distance, the closest was 8mins walk from the apartment. Vrboska is a small town but is only a half an hour bus from hvar town. Laura was a lovely host and Vrboska was a lovely town!
An ecxellent place to rest and relax.
This was our second time in this accomodation and we will come back for sure.
Besides the room, which is nice, there is a shared kitchen and a garden which allow to meet the other tennants and exchange experiences of Vrboska and it's beaches.
Great value for the cost
The accommodation is run by the friendliest hostess who also lives there. She is always there to help with the tiniest detail imaginable. The location is excellent because you can reach several very nice beaches on foot. The area is quiet and so is the entire village Vrboska.
This is a clean and modern apartment block with a beautiful pool area that’s cleaned every morning. Apartments are sunny and spacious with large glass sliding doors. Beds very comfortable and only a 5 min walk in to Vrboska for morning coffee or dinner? Loved it
The owner and her husband do an amazing job with their property as well as the restaurant that they own in town- Škojič. The food is excellent and so is the wait staff. This is the best property to stay if you are in Vrboska which is just outside of Hvar.
Wow what a little hidden gem on havr island. We adored the beach and had it all to ourselves for the whole afternoon. The tents are simple, and make quite a bit of noise when there is wind. But the location and privacy can’t be beat.
Very nice hosts, picked us up and drove us back to the ferry. They also brought us fresh vegetables. Nice apartment with large balcony. Central location of apartment in the very nice city of Vrboska.
Superfriendly hosts, and a beautiful quiet location. The property has a garden with terrasses and a small pool and a babecue/fireplace you can use, acces to a small private beach and a nice view
Everything! Great location, 2 mins walk from Vrboska
center and harbour, strategic position to see the island
