Good restaurants ( "Na moru" is the best )...
Good restaurants ( "Na moru" is the best )...Nice small fishing village...Friendly people....It is not easy to walk around as the roads and walkways are to stiff... Lack of parking space...No other facilities are available as of this time ( mid June) .. like beach umbrellas, reclining chairs, toilets on the beach, ....To many dogs roaming around....DDarko VivodaCroatia - 10Scored 10
Perfect place to stay close to the sea, each building is in...
Perfect place to stay close to the sea, each building is in the centre, so it is really small lovely village, with a few restaurant with delicious food, beautiful beaches around (also if you walk longer distance, you will have beach just for yourself). I would definitely recommend this location, but not for those who looking for night life. But for calm relaxing vacation with romantic surroundings. Also good location for trips around the Cres Island (We visited Cres, lovely Lubenica a her Sv.Ivan beach, Velki a Mali Losinj and few small villige by the road and sea)

Perfect small place for a great vacation! Nice restaurants with great food, beautiful beaches, one of the most beautiful views from above the village, and perfect peace and quiet during your stay... :) We recommend restaurants Na moru, MaMaLu and Toš-Juna - great fish, calamari, and 'home'-wine (istrian malvasia)!

Valun is the perfect place to just relax, interspersed with...
Valun is the perfect place to just relax, interspersed with swimming, reading, eating and being mesmerised by the beautiful view. The village is built on a very steep hill and one has to be good on foot to get around. We came with a suitcase - I don't recommend that. Next time we will travel with backpacks, these are easier to carry up the many stairs.

Valun is a dream destination for active people, romantic...
Valun is a dream destination for active people, romantic souls and gourmets of all ages, not passive consumers of global entertainment. Simple advice. Look down the window of the Seaside apartments to see if there is a free sea kayak, borrow it directly, and head out to meet the empty wild beaches of the Valun Bay. Many thanks Dear Milena for a tip on a string concert in the local chapel. We really did not expect to listen to Antonin Dvorak at Cres, and for your excellent home Limoncello served at our "farewell street party". We will remember.............. ................................and we will definitely come again !
