Top location with a clean room ( we had no views). Lovely indoor pool. Breakfast was fine. Bike storage was good

The apartment is very large, and the view from the bathroom window is lovely. It's very nice that parking is included, though it was almost always full, so I wonder what you would do if there were no spots available.

A super location for a stay near Motovun. Nena is an exceptional host who kindly took our bikes in and locked them away in the garage. She took us to the village in her car which is a 25 min walk up the road. She also made us coffee and pastry breakfast.

This apartment is in a beautiful location if you’d like to unwind after a long day of seeing Motovun. My partner and I biked to Motovun, then checked in around 7 pm, and left in the morning via the Parenzana (additional perk that the path is right by). The apartment is a bit far from Motovun by foot, took us approximately 15 minute by bike (and that was going downhill). We didn’t stay long in the morning and did not get to experience the complimentary breakfast that many other reviews referred to. The apartment did have an electric kettle (but no instant coffee) and a mini fridge. Everything was very clean and we loved sitting in the backyard, watching the stars.

Great place for lovers of medieval hill-top towns and truffles. One can enjoy just a stroll through the town and views of surroundings for an hour, can have a great dining experience or stay for days and explore Istria, one of the prettiest and welcoming places on earth. "Medieval" and "hill-top" also mean that you walk a lot on rugged cobblestone, you walk uphill and climb stairs, and "great place" means it's crowded in the high season (summer). Still, one of the better places to escape to from crowded coastal towns, focused primarily on visitors' wallets.

A classic medieval town that was so fun to explore.
A classic medieval town that was so fun to explore. Be sure to visit the cathedral (opened about 10 during our visit) and (carefully) climb the bell tower for a spectacular view of the valley and beyond. We visited in late October when some businesses had closed for the season and others were winding down. We would visit again in September.

Great location in old town.
Great location in old town. Wonderful people and amazing views from the walls and restaurants. Wine and truffle country and free samples were almost too much. Lol
Tiny and hilly old stone streets within a walled city oozing with history.
Our host was gracious, laid back and a pleasure to just chat with.
We would highly recommend.

It's a spectacular location on a hilltop with amazing views all-round of mountainous country including vineyards & olive groves. Delicious and reasonably-priced restaurants at the very top, friendly people, tons of charm. Nearby are several vineyards & the local wines are very nice, and affordable. Easy day trips to Pula, Rovinj, Buzet & others.

This was my first time in Istria.
This was my first time in Istria. We checked out Kozlovic winery, we sampled their delicious wine and had a tour. View is spectacular. Had dinner in Motovun, tried gnocchi with truffles, very tasty! Pictures of the amazing views do not do it justice. Will definitely visit again!

Motovun is lovely little town in the heart of Istria.
Motovun is lovely little town in the heart of Istria. I really liked it. The prices at restaurants in general in comparison to offer are a bit limited. However we managed to find something for ourselves at the end. We missed bakeries. We did not find single one so we travelled to Pazin on our way back home and found amazing bakery.
Perhaps tourism board should create a special list with all possible places providing food and menu of same, all in one place saves from walking especially if one has slight walking disabilities.
Everything else is lovely and look forward returning to Istria
spread over 4 levels, the apartment has everything you need. the dedicated parking space and nearby pool were wonderful features. we enjoyed the rustic touches paired with modern amenities. the decorating had many little discoveries in the nooks and crannies which were fun. our host was very friendly and enjoyed telling us all about the town and nearby places to visit. recommend sturdy walking shoes for the steep streets and passages up to the top of the town where the restaurants and little shops are located..
Location literally could not be better and is the biggest advantage of the apartment!
There is no apartment in motovun with a better location than this one, which is super important because Motovun is difficult to climb and there is 0 climbing with this apartment. You are at the very top of the hill.
The price was very afordable even when choosing a cancelation option.
The bathroom and the pool were great.
The view was beautiful.
The beds were spacious and very comfortable.
The rooms were clean and tidy.
The room was very clean and the patio was a perfect place to watch the world go by. It was very rainy during our stay and that was no problem, this apartment was great to spend time in. Very close to center square. The studio itself is small but very comfortable, great for 1 or 2 people. The bathroom was massive. There is a good uphill walk from the parking to the location, but that is just Motovun. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Everything was spotless. I would definitely stay again!
We loved the outside area and view. There were even lounge chairs with cushions provided. The room was fine and even had a coffee maker, which is unusual and was so nice to not have instant coffee. We were only there for one night and would have liked to enjoy longer! Eat at Mondo's and get polenta with black truffles for a meal to remember! Traditional Croatian food is bland and unseasoned, but not this dish!
The view from the balcony is amazing. Nice big balcony as well. Room is well appointed.
The owners pick you up from the carpark used for hotel guests which is a 15.min up and down steep hills so well needed.
Take the breakfast offered by.ownera as there is nothing open for breakfast in the village.
Location is great just 5 mins from the castle.
It was perfect, like a dream place. Every detail was just perfect - general spirit, great furnished, lights, candles, coffee machine and millk in the fridge! Wine on the table. Music ♥️ View, place to drink coffee outside on the morning. Eco as well which is not common in Croatia.
The host was wonderful and informative and kind. the location is mad but amazing. the nearest restaurants are very good. breakfast was the best veggie breakfast I’ve had so far in Croatia. breakfast terrace has insane views as do most of the rooms it seems.
This is truly the nicest place I’ve stayed so far on my journey. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and it had a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. My host even met with me on short notice after a last-minute booking.
Beautiful setting on the outskirts of town, easy to find and free parking.
The hotel staff delightful and helpful. They were so happy to see Americans after so many months.
Our room was huge and well appointed with a balcony.
The host was super friendly and helpful. The bedroom is huge. We were traveling by bicycle so there was plenty of space for our bikes and all our kit. As for Motovun, what a beautiful place with a stunning view.
A delightful house in a delightful town. All of the character of the original old building with modern comforts. Olja and Milan have created a welcoming and comfortable space. One of our best accommodations.
Charming and renovated place located in the middle of Motovun old town. We had dinner in the restaurant of the same owner and the quality of food was excellent. Parking was free of charge and nearby.
Slavin and his team were fantastic hosts from start to finish. They helped us navigate up to the apartments which were everything we needed and perfectly located for our stay in Motovun.
Loved the property - the owner was wonderful. Just know that if you stay in Motovun (which you should) there is a LOT of walking - stairs, inclines, cobblestones, etc.
