This was easily one of the most hospitable stays we have ever had. The owners were so kind and treated us like family. Nik made us breakfast in the morning, we weren't given a menu, the food just showed up and it was delicious!! Everyone in this area was so nice and wonderful to my 16-month-old son. The room we stayed in was clean and functional. The beach was awesome, we were the only people there. Some rocks but 99% sand.
When we were heading out he gave me his card and told me to make sure I emailed him if we had any problems or questions about the island. I cannot express how great the customer service was.

We were welcomed by a really friendly host, even though we arrived quite late. The apartment had clearly been renovated lately, it was nice and clean. We've got everything we need but it would be nice to have something to wash the dishes in the kitchen. We got a wonderful view of the sea from our balcony and the beach was basically just a few meters from the apartment. On the ground floor, there's a supermarket so it was not a problem to buy some basic products.

The apartments are lovely and situated with a gorgeous mountain view. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The bathroom is equipped with a variety of shampoos, condintoners and care products, which is very convenient when traveling with low-fare airlines and hand luggage only. Very welcoming lovely couple who made our first night in Crete very special - we got dinner (with Raki :) ) although we arrived very late, could swim in the nice pool in the morning and had a very big breakfast with a variety of great homemade dishes. Perfect first location if you arrive at Iraklion airport!
