Excellent location, quite literally a stones throw from the beach and the main strip of Platanias. The bus stop is just down the road along with taxis.
The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. It has everything you'd need for a stay, even a hairdryer and straighteners for those in need.
Staff are so welcoming and friendly, easily contactable through the app and will help if they can.
Highly recommend, it made for a most wonderful stay

So many shops and places to eat, it's a bit like a time warp with no people pestering trying to get you to buy fake sunglasses and watches, even the shop/bar & restaurant staff leave you alone and let you make your own decisions. Also there is a world war 2 museum up the hill that is well worth a visit.

Good family oriented resort with lots of eating options from casual to more formal, international to traditional Cretan, close to visit Chania on an excellent bus service. Platanias has a main road running through the street with hundreds of great restaurants and tourists shops, along with many mini supermarkets. Platanias has a beach with calm water and a shaley beach.

Busy main road, but many apartments off side roads. Good Greek bars and restaurants, which I prefer. Although lots of modern bars and shops if you want. Couple of dancing bars, not if your face, no nightclubs which is good. Restaurants serving tradition food - Nisos (by sea), Sonos (by sea). Drosia (side road). Great cocktails and drinks at Utopia, great staff, more Greek like.

Was just ok, the rooms are clean but the furniture is old and the towels stained. Breakfast was good but the same every day, the beach in front not so clean and full of little stones. The employes war friendly, specially the cleaning ladies. The garden was well cared of, lots of flowers and trees.

We took half board, and both the breakfast and the dinner were great, tasty food, wide assortments to choose from, probably something for everyone. There are three big swimming pools and few kids' pools on the property, own beach with free access to sunbeds and towels. The place is very clean and well maintained. Chania is at 30 minutes bus ride. We will come back over the next years; till now we went four times in Chania area, second time to Platanias.MarcelRomania

It was amazing the upstairs bedroom was so spacious and beds lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed all our meals especially the one in the A’ la Carte restaurant. The entertainment team were such good fun, the aqua aerobics and table tennis were firm favourites with all our family. During our stay there was a music ban in Crete, despite this the entertainment by Miro’s team was Superb! Thankyou for a wonderful holiday!

The hosts are very kind and willing to accommodate you at their best. The 🏠 is on on top to an hill so if driving with the car better a smaller one as roads are narrow. Platanias square with all restaurants and shops is few minutes walking distance. Neighborhood is very vibrant and the location is perfect to explore Chania area and the amazing beaches around.

I was about two minutes away from the conference rooms and paid less half than what I would have paid to stay in the MPH. The bus stop to go to Chania is just in front of the apartment and many stores and excellent restaurants are within easy walking distance, as is the beach. Good place for those who want to coock on their own - there is herb garden that You can use. Also, parking place. Very good base for trips all around western Crete. Host is also extremly friendly. Been there two weeks, will return for sure :)
