Parikia is a good place to begin your travels of Paros. it is a convenient location to base yourself in as there is a bus terminal that allows you to take a short ride to Naoussa and surrounding areas. Overall, we preffered the small village of Aliki for a longer stay, as it was quiter and had a more relaxing vibe. The beaches in Parikia were not overly special, and I would not advise staying here if you desire luxury scenery. If you wish to visit the nicer beaches, definitely hire an ATV. Parikia used to be the black sheep of the family concerning Paros villages. Eveyone told me that Naoussa is the best place to be. I beg to differ. Paros has come under a big progress restaurant wise and is one of the few greek islands where you can have so many options in dining, especially italian. The only thing missing from Parikia is a bar or club where people can dance all night. It's the puzzle piece that will complete the upgrade.

You wont find a decent restaurant even tho there are numerous ones to choose from .......... I have been to numerous locations in Greece and so i can speak from experience. Rent a car in advance because there are 30 taxis on the island. The bus worked well, however, they had a schedule that sometimes did not work for everybody. Restaurants in Parikia are not all not good and it depends on what are you looking for.PEDRO HUELVASUnited States

Rooms were simple, but very clean, quiet and pleasant. Comfortable beds. The pool was lovely to come home to after a day out and about. The location was perfect for us . . . removed from the noise and busyness of Parikia, but close enough to walk to for dinner. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and friendly place to stay on Paros.

The best thing by far, however, was the staff! Everyone at the hotel was really kind and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure everything during out stay was great. We had some bad luck during our trip and had an injury, and the staff immediately helped my friend get to the emergency room for no extra charge or anything. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the beautiful island of Paros.
