The beach was great and water was amazing to swim in! We liked the service from the restaurant Kuzina on the beach and felt the value was better than neighbouring ones. Overall, great beach - also considering it's the starting point for the water taxi (boat taking you to other beaches). Ornos was full of €60 per day sun loungers. It’s quite small which is fine but there’s very little to do unless you are in to kite surfing on north beach. We ate mostly at Kostantis which is fab in every way! The Italian along Ornos beach is also lovely. It's so easy to get the bus into Mykonos town from Ornos for 2 euros. There's also a couple of good supermarkets and a gorgeous bakery (Mr Baker). Everything you need!

Ornos is a good intermediate location, close to down town and very conveniente beach. Restaurants on the beach are great. Beach is busy ( we went in august) as all the beaches are during summer, but is not a party beach ( like Paradise). You can rent sunbeds which include beach towels, at the beach Our hotel was a 2 minute walk from the beach which was awesome as parking can be a bit challenging

The island of Mykonos has done an excellent job of charging for everything. If they could monetise the air, I'm sure they would. 60 Euros for a sunbed and not a square inch of sand without one. 20 Euros for parking for a few hours and eye-watering cocktail costs. A recent survey voted the island the worst destination for Brit tourists, and I can see why. I feel sorry for the locals because life must be so damn expensive for them. And it's a plastic surgeon's dream, lips the size of buoyancy aids and faces pulled back so tight that they glistened.

Only 2 walking minutes to the public bus station. Mykonos City is just 1,5km far away. The apartment has a small kitchen. Everything is super clean. You can book a private shuttle to/from the airport for 20€ (approx. 7-15 min). If you take the public bus, it needs approx. 1,5 hrs (cost: 3,80€). Communication with the hotel was excellent. I would come back any time again.

The studio was clean and comfortable with a very handy coffee machine and a ten minute walk into Ornos (where we found a lovely bakery 😍). The bus to Mykonos town was nearby. I have been to several greek islands but Mykonos is by far the most beautiful. Suitable for both relaxed and lively holidays.
