Everything was perfect! We loved everything.
Popylena is a wonderful host and a beautiful person. Excellent communication and availability.
There was such a good vibe! I would go back right now, if I could...
The house is beautiful and so comfortable. It has everything you could need, inside and outside, and is spotless.
We also appreciated a lot the quietness of the area (it's something increasingly rare, isn't it?) the surrounding greenery and of course the swimming pool.
Our vacation was 10+ thanks to Popylena and her property.
Thank you very much, Popylena!

The host was amazing. He helped us tremendously when we had an issue with our car and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. The house was super lovely, and quiet and in an easy to find location. Would definitely stay here again if I would visit Paxos again.

Lovely pool, quiet, friendly and the room was great. We had a family room and it was like a suite, tons of space. Perhaps the time of year but there wasn’t a lot of life in the hotel in the evening. There’s a brilliant restaurant over the road though, which is a great alternative if the kids don’t want to walk into Gaios.

Delightful atmosphere. Good variety of places to eat.
Delightful atmosphere. Good variety of places to eat. Very friendly shops, tavernas and accommodation. Getting there from Giaos on arrival with your luggage requires pre-booking a taxi as there's a shortage. You can't wheel your cases along most of the roads on Paxos - they're too rough so you'll need to be dropped off as close as possible to your accommodation.
Lakka's beaches are lovely, with sand in the shallows so you can stand up comfortably. Avoid them across the middle of the day when the excursions boats are in as they get busy, but from 2pm they're quiet again.

Lakka is a small fishing village with a touristy front line filled with tavernas and caffes. The people are very friendly and helpful, the food is homey and delicious, and there's a peaceful quality to the place.
Everything is within walking distance, and if you need to go to Gaios, you can take the local bus. There are a few small pebbely beaches with quite beautiful waters, and a lot of boats. If you see sunbeds - they're probably for a cost of 8-10 euros for 2, be aware.
You can hire a boat (in advance) and travel to different beaches along the coast of the island.
If you want to calm down and unwind, Lakka is a great place for you. I fell in love with the peaceful quiteness of this village when visiting on a day trip a few years ago, and had to come back =)

The second biggest village of Paxoi.
The second biggest village of Paxoi. Probably best option for people looking to rest and relax. Gaios is only 10' away by car but we found driving around gaios a nightmare. This is a bonus for Lakka too.
Lakka offers a good choice of restaurants and a couple of bars by the port. You can see all of Lakka in 2 days max.
In 5' walking from the centre of Lakka you are in harami beach: organised beach, tranquile, beautiful and clean

Very pretty and lively town, good local bus service plus taxis. Some good walking. Beach very rocky but sandy once you get into the incredibly clean and blue water. Lots of facilities, including shops, markets, ATMs, bars and tavernas. We were there in September, so busy but not too crowded. Not sure how it would be in peak season, with lots of tour boats calling in.

Beautiful harbour with stunning sunsets.
Beautiful harbour with stunning sunsets. Never too busy but the good restaurants are always full, which is a good thing. You can have a decent cocktail sundowner and a posh meal or have a large draft and pitta gyros - both great quality. The nearby beach gets busy when the tourist boat comes in but that's only for a couple of hours on some days. The beach itself is lovely with clear turquoise waters. Feels upmarket but not over-developed. Very east to get taxis to nearby villages. Lakka is about 15 minutes from the port and costs 15 EUR.
The studios were spotlessly clean and comfortable and we all enjoyed spending time by the pool. The location is perfect, an easy walk into town but very quiet. Lakka is a beautiful village, the bars and restaurants were excellent and the food we had during our holiday was superb.
Kostas was the best host, always available to make sure that we were ok and having a great holiday. We were very grateful for his help when my daughter needed to see a doctor.
Clean and well equipped apartment, traditional and lovely. Beautiful gardens and pool. We cooked at the outdoor kitchen twice, which was fun. Very helpful staff.
The location is very good - less than 5 mins walk to supermarket, Lakka, etc. We walked to several beaches, all within 45 mins - Orkos (stunning), Lakkos and Monodendri - along a mix of road, donkey track and pathways. Great way to spend the day.
The location is absolutely perfect, the staff kind and helpful. I loved the rooftop bar and swimming pool area so much! The view is stunning. :) We had everything we needed.
I've been coming to Lakka for years, but never before noticed this amazing flower blooming at night! As soon as the sun went down, the scent filled the room through the open balcony door, and my goodness, it was heavenly.
The location is fantastic, walking distance 100 yards to Lakka (debatably the best village in Paxos). The rooms are large and pool area is lovely. The manager was extremely helpful and kind throughout. Even giving us tips on the best tavernas, beaches locations etc on arrival. He also organised a quadbike for us to use during our stay!
The best mattress I've ever slept in! And for me this is very important!
The view is amazing! The flat is very well located and the hotel staff that manages the apartment is very friendly, polite and professional.
The apartment has everything you need in the kitchen. The wifi is not exceptional, but it's quite good!
The property was very central, clean and spacious. The owners welcomed us with some local gifts and accepted us before the check in time. The apartment is just a two min walk from the bars and restaurants of Lakka. Also, it has all the utensils if you want to cook. Cute balcony as well.
The fact that Rania’s cottage overlooks the Ionian through a terraced forest makes it feel like it should be in a movie. It’s just beautiful. It’s very quiet and very well located close enough to Lakka for convenience but at an excellent distance to get away from it all. Truly amazing.
Good apartment in the centre of Lakka village. Very close to all bars and restaurants and walking distance to nearby beaches. Kostas met us at the port, gave some good tips and checked us in - very nice guy and on hand if you need anything (you won’t - Lakka is chilled out)
- Comfortable room and very spacious
- kitchen with more appliances than we've ever seen i a hotel
- spacious balcony (or elevated patio) with furnitures
- good location
- the convenience of self check-in and its deposit box to leave the key during the day
The house is in a remote and secluded, peaceful location in the middle of a small forest, yet it remains close to the second largest viallge of Paxoi, Lakka. Mr. Alekos the owner is very kind and generous and helpful in parking and instructions too!
Very clean and comfy rooms in the centre of Lakka! Whatever you need is so close to Vassiliki apartments. As for the hosts, Ntina and Giorgos were so kind and helpful! I would recommend it for sure to anyone who is going to travel to Paxos.
Incredible view and great location, with a short (but steep!) Footpath down into Lakka. Simple, as expected. Spacious for a couple and the cold cans of beer on arrival were very welcome. Loved sitting out on the terrace.
Amazing view, a hotel worth to be a guest of. Big and clean room with spacious toilet, very comfortable, the owners / staff were great and friendly, always willing to help and share info about the island.
Everything! Paxos is ridiculously overpriced so this lovely studio was good value - all newly and beautifully decorated. And the bed…it was more comfortable than my own at home!
