The house is a well restored traditional building from the 18th sentury if not older. It seems to be one of the most important buildings of the village sine it is on the best spot on the top of the hill. The view is great. It is very spacious and clean. Very nice and quiet place in a small village surrounded by farmers. A wonderful place to relax. Not far from the southwest beaches. Equally not far from Heraklion. The landlady is very friendly and hospitable. The garden she takes care of is full of lemon and orange trees.

I love that the builder-owners of Thaloria also did many building projects & street improvements in the neighboring Village of Kapetania. There is also a sign at the pool entrance that Thaloria decided to let the neighbor/villagers use the pool at certain times in the interdependent community spirit they are trying to cultivate. Unique & rural ‘Cretan’ !
