Place was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly. Keep in mind that it’s a older hotel, furniture is classic but not degraded, but the mattress, cleanliness and comfort were great. A rare find in Greece

Hotel Oscar welcomed us with water and promptly opened their doors to let in our tandem bicycle which was stored in their spacious back room. That was the easiest time we have had storing our bike. It was great to have a refrigerator in the room and a grocery store around the corner. Both father and son made us welcome and were very helpful, we even learned some Greek words. I felt so comfortable with our stay that I just had to give the father a hug goodbye.

We stayed at Mpezas Studios for a night, as we had an early ferry to catch the next morning. Mr Mpezas welcomed us with a local drink, showed us around. The apartment was cosy and clean, there was even on the fridge a platter with fruits and some snacks for our breakfast. We felt really comfortable and we're sad to leave the next morning. All in all we experienced hospitality and that is why we will come again when we are in Igoumemitsa, thank you!

The city is a typical Greek city dependent on sea trade and transport. It also has nice beaches but the harbour as hub for the surrounding islands of Corfu and other islands like Paxos in the Ionian Sea, and therefore there is a lot of sea traffic on the water as well in the city as the main motorway leads from Igoumentisa to Thessaloniki.

I liked the fact that everything is within walking distance.
I liked the fact that everything is within walking distance.
Caught a fairy to Corfu and spent the day there also.
If we had a car it would have been so much better but was too scared to drive on the wrong side of the road being from Australia lol.
The thing that was a disappointment was the fact that there are step’s everywhere and if you are disabled there is no chance to get in and out of shops etc…
Foot paths were uneven and too many stray cats and dogs.

We used the Hotel as a stopover during our holiday, we were using the port as a point of transfer over to the island of Corfu. The hotel and location cannot be faulted. We found a small taverna within 50 meters of the hotel where we ate for the evening.

I always pass rapidly through Igoumenitsa.
I always pass rapidly through Igoumenitsa. This time there was a port strike and I was forced to stay two extra days and nights, and I discovered it is a very nice town. Probably I will always spend the night there again when I pass through. I can recommend the restaurants Ambrosia and Navtaki (near the fantastic Holiday Zigos hotel) and -- in town -- the small fish restaurant Palio Limani. I would also recommend the Archaeological Museum, which is full of interesting objects and very well presented and organized.

A small city with a very nice and clean beach.
A small city with a very nice and clean beach. If you like to swimming in the sea or stay all day close to the sea then this city is the right place.
Unfortunately there’s nothing to see except the sea beach.

- Gorgeous views
- Very spacious villa with lovely decor
- Private (1 side of the pool is overlooked by the villa above but if you stay on the villa side of the pool you cannot be seen by anyone)
- Local management company (Bespoke360) were brilliant at helping us out once we were informed of booking.com's location listing error (the location pin on the map showed this villa being in Igoumenitsa but it is in Sivota)
Perfect location for onward ferry journeying ( open the curtains and the boats are right in front of you) Evocative; enhancing the anticipation of your impending sailing. Rooms are just right. Breakfasting is very simple and pleasurable, again with views of people arriving and departing as a backdrop. Staff were all perfectly polite and helpful. I recommend this charming hotel unreservedly.
Thanks to Nick and his family we had a memorable stay in Igoumenitsa. The property is easily accessible, clean, airy, and a perfect place to rest well. The mosquito nets allow you to keep the doors on 2 balconies open overnight. There is a well-equipped kitchen for those that like to prepare meals themselves. Two supermarkets in near proximity are quite handy.
I stayed for the access to the Paxos Ferry terminal and it really couldnt be better. Ther family that own this hotel are delightful and there is the bonus that they will let you use their car park to leave a car for a few extra Euros. I was also given fresh oranges to take on my gjourney by the owner. Its the little things that make all the difference!
Great instructions, great welcome, great base for taking the ferry early in the morning. Bed, toilet and a mini kitchen. When we will come again to Igoumenitsa for sure we will use it as a stop over just not to sleep in the car.
I liked location and staff, rooms very clean. It is not the best hotel you can find but for what you need in two or three days of staying at Igoumenitsa it is ok. Price ok also. The receptionist were very nice and friendly.
The inside is stellar and modern!! This hotel is a diamond in the rough. Looking not inviting on the outside, you get a room fit for a king!! We were so pleased to be here!! Absolutely would give them 12 stars!!
Newly refurbished room. Absolutely beautiful and sparkling clean. The host was so accommodating. We artist midnight but they were there to meet us in no time. It felt like a luxury hotel. Perfect location.
Place was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly. Keep in mind that it’s a older hotel, furniture is classic but not degraded, but the mattress, cleanliness and comfort were great. A rare find in Greece
Thank you very much for hosting us at Thirsty Urban Port Studios. Elina was a great Host and the Appartement was very cozy, clean and welcoming. Perfect for a stay in Igoumenitsa.
The location was perfect for us, a gated property for secure parking! The host was very friendly & welcoming! We will definitely stay there again when we return to Igoumenitsa
Extra clean and beautiful rooms, have a closed car parking, so if you are traveling with motorcycle it is the hotel to stay safely with you bike.
very friendly owners.
Great breakfast on the rooftop and nice pool! Hotel provided a nice crib for our daughter to use. Check in was easy, and all staff were pleasant. Easy free parking.
Fair hotel, very clean, very responsive personnel. It has everything you need for a good rest.
They also offered us a jar of olives that were simply delicious.
