Great place we went out of season but there was still enough...
Great place we went out of season but there was still enough bars and tavernas open, but many more to open and they looked good also. We also had two dogs with us and we and them were welcome everywhere. Could not fault the friendly people and the hospitality we had at our hotel and bars and tavernas was first rate. We will definitely be going back.

It is in strategic position, central to reach beautyful beaches on the east and on the west of the village within 30 min-1 hour by car. It is also a small pictoresque and typical greekvillage with a small harbour, full of shop, markets, restaurants and services, but very quiet as well

A very nice village by the sea. Lots of options for eating out including tavernas at the next beach to the east. Ferry service from the harbour and tour boats for fishing a sightseeing. One of our favourite locations on Crete.

After coming from Paleochora, I’m afraid Agia Galini was a huge disappointment. It looks tired and run down and the beach is less than spectacular. The view of the water from any restaurant is marred by the rather grotesque breakwater. I would advise folks to stay in Spili. A much prettier town.KatherineCanada - 10Scored 10

Ag. Galini is a beautiful small city, located on the hill. Although is a touristic place its quite and peaceful. Everything is near and you don't need the car to move around. The beach is beautiful and the local shops have a great variety. The local cuisine is delicious and the people very friendly.StamatiaGermany

The beach is within a 5-minute walking distance, and so is the rest of the village, where one can find plenty of shops and restaurants. Very quiet and nice place. Elena and Harris were fantastic hosts and provided plently of information and suggestions to have a nice stay but also on places to see on the rest of my trip in Crete. Would definitely stay here again, as the location is also very convenient. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choices.SilviaItaly

He also told us the best places to visit which was a big help. :) The apartment matches what we see in the photos. It's also super clean. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast consists only of fresh products and varies every day. The staff is very welcoming and extremely helpful. For instance: they provide a special breakfast if you have food intolerance. Definitely a place to return.

The location is perfect as it has a parking on front of the hotel (quite rare in Agia Galini) and you can reach the center and the beach in 3 minutes walking. Definitely recommend it!
