Great base to visit lots of places of interest, or just to enjoy sunny days. Variety of places to eat, from low key local cafes to all entertaining lively bars. Many decent, well priced supermarkets for buying midnight snacks, street vendors for large varieties of fruits and veg. Taxi's are in abundance, so easy to get around. Our stay was far too short, we weren't ready to come home...

After reading some of the most recent reviews I was wondering about the pool situation (after booking I did get a notification about ongoing construction still), but during my time there were no more renovations and it was fully functional and clean. Almost all the staff was extremely nice, helpful and professional. The wifi was fine in the bungalow I was staying in, power does cut in and out a lot (and sometimes stayed off for a while) but I doubt that‘s a hotel-specific problem, so no complaints there.
