The pub was lovely, great layout and decor. Our main issue was it was cold and the heating wasnt on. I and others kept coats on which was disappointing. The food was really nice and the stay peaceful. The heating did eventually come on in the room, but we had a really early check out so it didn't matter. Other than that, it really was a lovely place and would stay again. 👍

Very unique and well presented and the rooms are of a very generous size with everything you could want. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Would definitely use again.

Everything is quite nearby in yeadon I did mention white swan as being a horrible stay but mainly it's because I called the staff 8 times and they ignored me all I wanted to know was when my food would arrive as I didn't want to be late for my music event at the town hall and the attic room the painful difficulty to climb the stairs and the room being extremely hot contributed to me being dissatisfied amongst other things but I think if the room was on the ground floor sigh thing is just 3 weeks beforehand my fractured knee just healed and I hadn't been religiously exercising it so I was still quite unstable and in pain so climbing the stairs was abit too much for me and I was wearing too many layers so it was far too hot for me with the heating on as well it's true what the manager said in reply but what I experienced was also true to the best of my knowledge and I never lie I have never lied in my life and ain't going to start either people usually applaud me for my honest reviews i don't know why the manager said I was telling lies I am quite upset by the accusation.

The room is comfortable and looks modern, it is situated above the pub, with a busy road out front. The room is modern but the lighting is quite muted.
There is plenty of off road parking to the right of the pub, as you face it.
To check in you need the enter the pub through the front door and tell them at the bar that you have a booking.
Everyone is very pleasant and helpful.
Note about the stairs:
We are a quite fit late 60s couple that can easily climb stairs, however the stairs are steep and I was glad we just had small bags. If we had taken 30 kg size bags for our flight, I doubt we could have carried them up the stairs.
It was an OK stay and the room is priced very similarly to the big chain hotels.
Just had expected a little more from the reviews I had read.

Yeadon is a typical Yorkshire town - nothing special in itself. However its position does make access to lots of other interesting places possible. Harrogate, Knaresborough as well as several large towns are all close by.

I did like the bar area and the bedroom was clean and comfortable - I did not like having to access the bedrooms via a corridor to go upstairs.
No breakfast available which we do like if we are going to be traveling most of the day

Fantastic businesses location friendliness quality and value...
Fantastic businesses location friendliness quality and value for money and convenience spoilt by a scruffy Manager who made the stay a nightmare . Thanks to the wonderful local police who were professional and human and had no say in Jonjo and had to investigate which they did quickly and professionally. Get rid of ( or retrain and discipline I would say final warning if he gets treatment for his nervous disorder .
This was a surprise. We did not expect to find such a great place for just a one night stay. It's just a short train ride to other big cities and it's near the airport. We walked to a park, and we watched a soccer game outside under an open area they have for a sports bar. We will definitely come back if given the chance. A bonus for us was the meal. We thought we'd died and gone to heaven. That was one of the best meals anywhere we have ever had.
We were there for only one night because we had a very early flight. It's apparently often used by people with early flights from Leeds Bradford airport, which is an easy 20-minute walk away (or a short bus ride). It was clean, comfortable, generically decorated, just a standard useful hotel in a convenient location. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and helped carry luggage upstairs, which was very nice.
Despite the fact that it was after 11.00pm when we arrived we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The landlady came and chatted to us whilst we had a drink which was nice. Although there was an event at the hotel which was in full swing whilst we were there you couldn't hear anything in the room. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay and we will pass your contact details to our friends.
Modern high quality decor in old traditional building, great location- rural setting but extremely close to airport (walking distance) - no plane noise. Able to cope well with competing demand of clientele (public house and hotel guests). Good quality pub grub. Friendly welcoming service. Room very well appointed and tasteful, neutral decor. Quite boutique.
We stayed at this hotel for one night as it was close to the airport and needed to fly very early in the morning. The truth is that we missed our flight the night before and had to book another one. Nevertheless, the staff went the extra mile to secure a cot for our baby at very short notice. We had a short but excellent night.
I arrived too late to properly review this hotel. I left again very early the next morning. I got a lovely warm welcome here and got lots of help in organising a taxi for 4.30am. My room was lovely, warm and clean.
The room is very comfy, wonderfully decorated with lots of nice touches and attention to detail. The two lounges are beautiful - as if the quaint setting that this period cottage stands in. A truly exceptional hotel.
Julia was warm and welcoming and we loved the space. The room was clean and spacious and much nicer than your standard hotel. We also loved meeting their cats Bob and Alfie.
Very comfortable and cosy. Great location to explore West Yorkshire. Yeadon has good restaurants and pubs to spend the nights ready for more adventure in the morning.
