The Old Bell - Warminster, hotel in Warminster

Located above Wiltshire coaching inn that dates back to the 14th century, The Old Bell - Warminster offers bed and breakfast accommodations.

The bathroom was fine with a good shower. The room overall was okay but much too hot, the radiators were off but it had two hot pipes running through it. We had to have the window wide open day & night to try & cool it down. The room faced the main road & two busy pubs so it was quite noisy until the early hours with music & chatter!

Deverill End, hotel in Warminster

Deverill End in Warminster provides adults-only accommodations with a garden and a terrace. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, full-day security, and free Wifi.

We stayed at Deverill Inn B&B for five nights and used it as our base of operations for touring Avebury, Stonehenge, Winchester, Bath, Stourhead, Lacock, and Salisbury. This worked perfectly for us. Our hosts were helpful, respectful of our needs, and informative. Our room was confortable and well-kept. The garden is immaculate - a labor of love; framing the lower edge of a fantastic view across farmland, plain, and hill. I ended every evening on the patio on the swing sipping a single malt, watching the changing shades and hues cast by the setting sun. And the English breakfasts were highlighted by homemade jams and compotes.

Snoozefrome, hotel in Warminster

Snoozefrome offers accommodations in Frome, 12 miles from University of Bath and 14 miles from Bath Abbey.

From the very warm welcome from Nicki as we arrived paved the way for our overnight stay. The room was exceptionally clean with lovely touches such as the chocolates on our towels to the complimentary fizz in the mini fridge. The continental breakfast was plentiful and a refreshing change from the usual fry up offered. Nicki was friendly and helpful - it felt like we had known her for years. If Nicki and Tim were running a hotel it would definitely be a 5star one. We would recommend this fab B&B to anyone staying in the area.

Great for walking and cycling - peaceful location. Small market town with several supermarkets and local shops. Nice walk around Nature Reserve and lake. Best walks up into the fields beyond the railway line - especially in the winter snow.

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Very quiet on top floor.

Easy to park near the high Street. Spent 2 hours walking around shops and local area. Followed a 'blue plaque' walk we downloaded. We thought this was a nice old town to potter around before visiting relatives nearby.

Front of house staff were welcoming and amicable offering details of what to expect and to do both in the hotel and the surrounding towns and villages. Breakfast options were excellent, providing a wide variety of cereals, fruits as well as the normal hot fried breakfast together with limitless toast and hot tea and coffee. The kitchen staff were excellent being welcoming and amicable. All of the staff were were amicable and very helpful both in the hotel and spa areas.

The Angel Inn is a very nice place to explore the region, with a perfect situation in between Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury and the nice Wiltshire landscape. The very old house does have a nice ancient charme. The stuff is nice and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant serves good meals at the end of a tiring vacation day. We very lucky: the chamber was huge. The location is calm.

Wow! What a little hidden gem! We was not expecting the cottage to be as amazing as it was! everything and I mean EVERYTHING has been thought about to cater for everyone. Everything was so fresh, clean & comfy - it really was like a home from home. Cannot recommend granary cottage enough and when we are coming back to the area, we will definitely be booking into granary cottage again.

I was pleasantly surprised and really impressed. It was raining really hard and the only annoying thing was having to go outside to get back in to the breakfast area. Staff were helpful, room was top notch and equivalent to a 4 star business hotel, so great. Well done, I will use it again and hopefully other Weatherspoon's hotels are the same. Really exceeded expectations

Excellent location for us, meeting family from various locations to celebrate a significant birthday with visits to Long Leat and Stourhead. We are all foodies so it was great to have a well equipped kitchen. And plenty of space for the 6 adults in our group. Pretty little hamlet and Warminster is a nice town with good walks around.

It was very quiet, which was good. It was within walking distance of a nature reserve, a park with a lake and Warminster town centre. The bedroom was OK and the bed was comfortable also the settees were comfy in the living room. The hot tub was nice, and there is space to park the car right next to the lodge.
