Love Warkworth. A beautiful village. The castle was magnificent. Was disappointed that the hermatige wasn't open though. Beach stunning and bus easy to catch to Alnwick. There are two lovely shops selling reasonably priced unique items. The most dog friendly place I have ever been too.

Warkworth is a lovely place but the main street is quite steep. However, most of the lovely shops are customer friendly. the castle is worth a visit and there is a lovely walk by the river. We loved Grays and The Potting Shed. We ate at other places so cant recommend any in Warkworth but we especially enjoyed the Italian fish restaurant { Carlini? }in Alnwick.

Our room overlooked Warkworth Castle and was set back off the main road making it the perfect spot to explore the town and within easy walk along the river to Amble and it's lovely quayside. Food was amazing everywhere we visited in town and although we didn't eat in the hotel, the food looked nice and the bar was lovely and friendly staff made us more than welcome
