Everything was just as we expected. Breakfast was very good, everything was available for us, good service by the staff Room was ok, for a king size expected to a bit more. Amazing property. Oli, the owners’ son was lovely and helpful. I don’t know what we were expecting but this property exceeded our expectations and I can understand the high ratings. So spacious and clean, with two bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen, plus the gardens, we loved it. Wish we had booked it as a base for a week to explore Hampshire. We were only passing through so just staying the one night.

What a gem this place is - perfect for a family visiting the area but also wanting to switch off and drink in some nature at a slower pace. The place itself is lovely, well-appointed (TV with services, games, dishwasher etc) and comfortable, with great beds and shower - and stocked with breakfast goodies. And uninterrupted views of green fields and trees. Outside was heaven for a small explorer - trampoline, bikes to ride, trees to climb. And all of this was minutes away from some of the best family attractions around - the Winchester Science Centre, Marwell Zoo, pony riding sessions and proper pubs. Oh and communication with Shannon was perfect - there when you need anything and very considerate. Bliss.
