Very comfortable, clean and picturesque. Beautiful views from the front of the property and enjoyed a walk through the Orchard. Ideal for the one night stay we wanted, comfortable bed and very clean. Useful bits like tea, coffee, microwave, a fridge etc. Tasty apple juice too. Friendly host who made us feel very welcome. Kids enjoyed the sheep and lambs and sweet little cat. Great value for money, quiet, peaceful and beautiful.

Our stay at the George Inn was only for one night as we were attending a family wedding in the area. Our welcome from the owners was warm, friendly and personal and all the staff we met were helpful and polite. The breakfast was delicious in every aspect apart from the toast - it's a shame this was very average sliced bread. So much else on the menu is home made, locally sourced and really tasty and we both agreed that better quality bread would have enhanced the breakfast experience.

Robertsbridge is a very pretty olde worlde village and central to many places of interest. Visit Bodiam Castle, Pashley Manor Gardens, Bateman's (Rudyard Kipling's house), Smallhythe Place, Great Dixter and of course the south coast, Bexhill, Hastings etc. The George Hotel is excellent, with lovely furnishings, delicious food - and a great welcome from Jane and John. We thoroughly recommend a short stay here.

The White Dog at Ewhurst Green (a beautiful little village) well worth a visit, the cheesecake was too good, just to drive around these villages was joy itself........darling buds of May country!

Robertsbridge was a wonderful surprise, had not been before and we were delighted with the lovely period buildings and unspoiled. Nice and quiet but with a nice community feeling to it. Lovely walks around the town. It is well positioned for visiting other nearby places too.

A lovely village with it's own history to read up on.
A lovely village with it's own history to read up on. Within easy reach of Bateman's, Rudyard Kipling's house, well worth a visit. also Sissinghurst Castle and gardens. There are many more places to visit all within easy distance.
Booked the George Hotel after having to cancel another booking; such a lovely surprise to find this gorgeous Georgian hotel in a wonderful small town like Robertsbridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the bed was super comfortable and the food in the restaurant is excellent with wonderful local produce beautifully cooked and presented. Definitely will be returning hopefully once Covid restrictions are lifted and we can sit at the bar!
The apartment is conveniently located in the middle of Robertsbridge, close to the railway station and with ample parking space too. It is well equipped and is clean, tidy and well maintained. Furniture is comfortable and the decor is clean and fresh. The bed was excellent. Communications from the owner were friendly and informative, and the gift of a bottle of Prosecco was very much appreciated.
Brilliant location with loads of beaches and villages in easy reach. Robertsbridge itself is extremely quaint. The George Inn is very comfortable and welcoming. 5* for the breakfast and last but not least the staff were superb - nothing was too much trouble and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants, parking and places to visit. Bravo John and Jane. Superb.
The George Inn is well situated in the centre of Robertsbridge, with great views onto the High Street and all the activity there. Our room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Delicious breakfasts and friendly staff. A charming pub. Thank you for a lovely two nights stay!
Great customer service, had a lovely meal and the staff couldn’t do enough to help.
The room itself was really comfortable would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing night away!
