Location fine. Bit of a sea view. Staff were amazing. Finding my room was a bit of a maze and when I read emergency instructions on door I felt the escape route should be turned so that I didn't have to tilt my head and facing door as I look out so I can clearly see from door I turn left, right.........
I loved the complimentary things, bathroom, towels, plenty of furniture. Bed comfortable.
Lunch on Sunday - I had sea bass, superb and veg perfectly al dente. Staff were super efficient albeit each course was served so quickly without a pause! All staff were lovely and accommodating.

We stayed for just one night and everything was perfect. the house is immaculately clean, smelt so nice and has everything you need and more. access via the lock box was easy and instructions were clear. We requested a later check out and the host was great and agreed straight away. brilliant that they don't charge extra for dogs too! gorgeous garden which is completely secure for the dog. The area is lovely and peaceful, short walk to the shop or Tesco is a 13 minute drive away so we stocked up there. we ordered a curry on just eat from Ruchi and it was so good! no negatives at all for this place would absolutely recommend

Port Talbot is easy to get around.
We would avoid going to the Twelve Knights the place has really gone down hill since we stayed last year especially the food.

The hotel looked a little run down on the outside - a bit like the area around it. Inside the hotel, however, it was clear that the staff and the facilities were excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful. The location, beside the park, the promenade and the beach, is wonderful. We found that there was lots to do nearby and we had a lovely time. Food in the hotel (breakfast and dinner) was adequate and there were lovely restaurants and bars close at hand.

Breakfast is an all you can eat full English buffet, and strong cofree, the perfect start to your day that carry you well into the afternoon. The beds are a dream, so soft, nice, and firm. Nice, big sized rooms, comfy furniture.
Staff very friendly, location was amazing. Port Talbot beach is amazing to walk along. Had a faulty shower in room 5 but messaged owners and they had a handyman to come and fix it, and whilst is was getting fixed they allowed us to use another room to have a shower, super fast wifi, very quiet after 9:30pm. What a beautiful family ran company, i planned for a 2 night stay but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to drive back home and they have offered 1 night free. Brilliant host
Booked because we wanted to use the pool but despite all other pools in the area being open, this one wasn’t. Shame. The hotel is in need of TLC in places but the staff couldn’t be more helpful and even offered a free drink when our evening meal took longer than expected. Paid for sea view and worth every penny. Also did the dinner deal (pay £30 and get £40 to spend) and the steak was delicious. Attention to Covid rules very evident and had a very happy night away.
Good bar with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was warm, larger than average and comfortable bed
The bar was excellent with a wide range of drinks. Probably a better pub than hotel. Large car park made life easy for us. Good cooked breakfast but minimal alternatives other than instant pot porridge, packets of cereals (decent selection) but no fruit juices on display.
Location was perfect for us, across from the train station, near the choir hall. The hotel is working to upgrade, the hallways need help, but our room was comfortable and clean! The breakfast was not the usual British fair but a nice change with smoked fish and cheese toast etc. They would have sent us out for the usual but we were glad we stayed!
Great price, great location, easy for transport into Port Talbot etc.Nice atmosphere, very friendly and very helpful staff, wifi, plenty of TV screens around, nice outdoor area, nice and clean.Covid rules and safety measures well observed.
Pillows and bed linen were perfect, and the room was very spacious. The shower was really good, and had plenty of power. Very nice location. Hotel was in general nice and quiet (I was working the next day).
Booked originally to be near seniors golf . But the entertainment in the evening was an added bonus with the most agreeable food could not fault it.I would certainly highly reccomend Blancos
Beautiful location, you can enjoy a stunning mountain view while sitting outside or inside the restaurant. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the Afan Bike Park and biker friendly.
Closeness of the hotel to the beach
The staffs are very supportive and friendly
The breakfast is awesome.
The hotel environment is clean and conducive for relaxation.
Food good. Very friendly , helpful staff. Comfortable atmosphere . Some hotels are very clinical in look & approach but Aberavon Hotel is very relaxing
