Was a pleasant suprise to find the rooms were in a separate building to the pub, which made for a quieter night, the rooms were well equipped, staff were really friendly, location wise was perfect for what I required, would definitely recommend and stay again

Firstly I must thank Ginger Ninja, Turkey Tit's and Stuble's (God I hope that sticks) for there amazing hospitality, they truly maid my visit one to remember. Fun genuine people who do there jobs perfectly and still find time to make strangers feel like friends.
As for the accommodation - Large clean and comfortable room attached to an great restaurant the breakfast was especially good.
On a final note, I can stay in 4 hotels in a week due to work and I always use Premier in as a baseline when comparing accommodation and this place was great. My only regret is I won't be working in that area again.

The room we stayed in is set in a self contained secure accommodation block near to the pub and was comfortable and with a bath which was much appreciated after a long days walk,
The location is very close to Hadrians Wall path and cycle way plus a nature park with access to the River Tyne so lots to do.
The pub was a real find serving real ale and good food which both went down well after a long days walk. The pub is very popular so early booking for a guaranteed table is recommended.

No hot water in bathroom. No where to put toiletries. Loose toilet. poor towels. No hair dryer.
No breakfast options even though it calls itself a bed and breakfast.
The bed was low and did not look promising but was OK.
The Badger around the corner was a great little pub for evening meals.

Lovely little village.
Lovely little village. The Diamond is right in the centre, next to the Church and the river. It could not be a nicer setting. The pub does not do evening meals but there are several good places to eat in the village. I ate at The Blackbird, a 17th century former abbots house round the corner from the Diamond.

Absolutely fantastic stay from arriving to leaving..
Couldn't have been happier.
Excellent service by the manager? who showed us to our room, had a giggle with us at the bar and was an all-round nice guy.
Evening meal was superb - although the steak was slightly over done for us but still delicious and plenty of it.
Our waitress did let us down a bit by bringing our water and the wine list and then not coming back to take our order - we had to call for back up -
Alex arrived and immediately took over and saved the day (and review)..
Exceptional customer service.. she could not have done anymore.
We will be back!
It's just a pity there are no (bar facilities/chill area) if you are a guest to enjoy a drink after your meal or when you arrive at the hotel.

Lovely village with a range of shops and eating places and interesting historical heritage. Very friendly local people only too willing to help/chat. Very flat so probably good for disabled or infirm visitors.
