Jane was very welcoming and accommodating. A well needed tea and biscuits were offered on arrival, followed by an incredibly relaxing bath in the immaculate bathroom overlooking the fields.
The room was cosy and well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. All was spotlessly clean.
The full English breakfast was delicious - my mouth is watering just remembering it! There was plenty of additional extra's offered such as cereals, yoghurt, jams, honey etc.
For anyone who travels here without a car, bear in mind that it is very much tucked away. Whilst this is a bonus, being incredibly quiet and peaceful, it can be a challenge for any conveniences like takeaways or taxis. I naively thought (being from London) apps like Uber or Just Eat would work, but they are very limited. A list of services that do accommodate the postcode would be really useful.
Even though I only stayed a night, it was very memorable. Thank you very much Jane!
