Everything! The ease of access, the parking, the hotel itself, the customer service (which was faultless). We loved the setting, the grounds and we loved the restaurant. Our evening meal and breakfast the next day were both excellent and we cannot wait to return to this spot of absolute charm and luxury

The property has a real charm about it , as the furnishings are beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite had a really great shower. Every kind of toiletry is provided and the owners were extremely helpful - even going out of their way to phone us to see if we would require dinner as we were held up at the airport and had got lost!. Thanks to them and their directions we arrived safely at the property. The breakfast was delicious and varied for every taste. We would definitely return.

We managed to book not long before we arrived and we chose it because of the late check in. It was great that the pub was able to accommodate us at such short notice. The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was really good.

Lovely owners and staff who all made us so welcome. Comfortable, cosy pub with some quaint, older rooms and a lovely new dining and bedroom extension. They did satisfying evening meals, which is great for those who don't want to go out of an evening.Great place to meet some of the locals who also gave us a warm welcome. A fantastic place to use as a base to explore Northumberland .It was a lucky find and we had a great time. Thanks for a happy stay.
