Lane End Cottage, hotel in Ovington

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Lane End Cottage is situated in Ovington, 25 km from Ageas Bowl and 28 km from The Mayflower Theatre.

The Cottage was exactly as pictured on Booking.com. My family needed a very quiet bolt hole which was clean and had good wifi to recharge our batteries in the middle to a hectic trip. This is exactly what we got. The hosts are extremely warm and friendly. The location is absolutely tranquil. There was adequate off road parking for a large van. We got to have a river-side evening walk before a peaceful nights sleep. The cottage was very clean with every amenity considered. We even had a recommendation for breakfast the following day. The price is as you would expect for the area and worth every penny.

The absolute careless attitude of the staff towards any questions or complaints about the untidy and dirty room. Why did I like this because this included not charging me for various drinks which made it all seem better.!! It was Like an apology and a refund although it was just the careless attitude of the staff !
