The hosts were absolutely amazing. They went to a huge effort to ensure our two night stay was perfect. And it was. The house was wonderful. Our room was excellent. Towels, toiletries and a welcome basket were provided. We cannot rate our stay highly enough.

The reply from the owner is lies - we can provide proof that we left early and we even told him and he acknowledged it!!! The house was filthy!!! The photos speak for themselves!

Old farming town regenerated by a University. Easy connections around the North West by train, bus or car. Some excellent restaurants and pubs, to suit all tastes and budget. Various supermarkets and local market day on Thursdays.

Staff were accomdating and the selection of beers was great. We loved being able to go to the restaurant and then just stumble to bed afterwards - no need for a taxi or a dediacted driver!
